Uni-Ball Kuru Toga Elite mechanical pencil kit 0.5mm HB (Gun Metal) — self-rotating lead, knurled metal grip

Built for people who demand a precision writing tool that looks as good as it performs, the Kuru Toga Elite balances refined metal styling with technical engineering. The gun metal barrel, knurled grip and metal accents give a premium feel, while the rotating lead mechanism keeps the tip pointed and reduces uneven wear. This kit arrives with sixty 0.5mm diamond‑infused HB leads and five replaceable erasers so you can rely on consistent results from the first page to the last.

How does the Kuru Toga Elite keep lead sharp during extended writing?

The Elite uses Uni‑Ball’s rotating lead engine that turns the graphite fractionally each time you lift and press the pencil. That subtle rotation evens out lead wear so the point remains fine and consistent without frequent sharpening. The result is cleaner, more legible strokes and less smudging over long notes or drawings.

• Automatic micro‑rotation with each writing stroke
• Prevents chisel or flat edges on 0.5mm lead
• Reduces breakage from uneven pressure

What makes the included HB refills special?

The kit’s 0.5mm refills feature nano diamond particles blended into HB‑grade graphite to strengthen each lead. That formulation delivers darker, smoother lines while improving durability compared with common leads. You get more consistent strokes for writing, sketching, or technical notes without sacrificing the fine 0.5mm width.

• Diamond‑infused formula for added toughness
• Rich, dark HB tone suitable for scanning and copying
• Sixty refill pieces included for long‑term use

How comfortable and durable is the pencil for everyday use?

The Elite combines a knurled metal grip with a solid gun metal body to deliver both control and long‑lasting construction. The textured grip improves hold during long writing sessions, while metal accents protect key stress points. It’s built to withstand daily pocket, backpack, or desk use without feeling flimsy.

• Knurled grip for anti‑slip handling
• Metal barrel and accents resist dents and wear
• Replaceable eraser and refillable lead chamber extend lifespan

What’s included and how easy is maintenance?

This kit is designed for minimal upkeep: refill the 0.5mm leads and pop in a replacement eraser when needed. The pencil’s mechanism and removable cap make lead changes straightforward, and spare erasers let you correct mistakes cleanly. The set gives everything required for months of use right out of the box.

• One Uni‑Ball Kuru Toga Elite mechanical pencil (0.5mm)
• Sixty diamond‑infused 0.5mm HB (No. 2) lead refills
