Utopia Bedding Mattress Protector Zippered California King 100% Waterproof Encasement — Quiet, Stretch Fit for 72 x 84" Mattresses

The Utopia Bedding California King Mattress Protector is a fully zippered, 100% waterproof encasement that shields your 72 x 84" mattress on all six sides from spills, dust mites and bed bugs while remaining quiet and comfortable.

Designed specifically for California King mattresses up to 15 inches deep, this full-coverage encasement combines a soft, non-crinkling polyester knit with a reliable liquid barrier and a wrap-around zipper to keep the mattress sealed. It’s built for everyday households with kids, pets, or allergy concerns and is easy to launder in a regular washing machine and tumble dryer on low heat.

How does this protector defend my mattress from liquids and pests?

The protector features a continuous waterproof layer beneath a smooth polyester knit that blocks spills, sweat and household accidents from penetrating the mattress. Its zippered, 360° enclosure prevents dust mites and bed bugs from entering or escaping the mattress seams.

• 100% waterproof internal barrier stops liquids reaching mattress core
• Full wrap-around zip seals all six sides for pest containment
• Stitched seams and zipper overlap reduce points of entry

Will this cover feel noisy or change mattress comfort?

Utopia Bedding uses a knitted polyester outer layer that avoids the crinkly sound typical of vinyl-style protectors, so it stays quiet under sheets and during movement. The fabric lays flat and stretches to conform to the mattress, maintaining sleeping comfort without adding stiffness.

• Soft, non-crinkling knit finish for silent use
• Stretchy construction fits snugly without bunching
• Designed to preserve original mattress feel and support

How easy is installation and care for a California King encasement?

The encasement slips on like a fitted sheet and secures with the wrap-around zipper for a snug seal; an installation video is available for step-by-step guidance. For upkeep, machine wash and tumble dry on low heat—no special detergents or treatments required.

• Fits 72" x 84" California King mattresses up to 15" deep
• Stretchy sidewalls simplify putting the encasement on
• Machine washable and dryer safe on low heat for easy maintenance

Does this protector stay in place during regular use?

The full encasement design and elasticized fit keep the protector securely positioned so it won’t shift during sleep or when changing sheets. The wrap-around zipper locks the cover in place for continuous protection and minimal movement.

• 360° coverage encases the mattress completely
• Elasticized stretch fabric prevents sliding and bunching
• Durable zipper keeps the cover tightly closed under tension
