Utopia Bedding King Bamboo Viscose Waterproof Mattress Protector, Fits 17" Deep — Breathable Fitted 200 GSM

Utopia Bedding's King Bamboo Viscose Waterproof Mattress Protector is a fitted, breathable cover that shields a 78x80" mattress up to 17" deep from spills, sweat and wear while keeping a cool, soft surface for sleep.

This fitted mattress protector combines a silky bamboo viscose surface with a waterproof barrier underneath, designed to preserve your mattress without the crinkly feel common to many protectors. It measures 78 x 80 inches to fit standard king mattresses and stretches to snugly cover mattresses up to 17 inches deep with elastic all around. Lightweight and quiet, it aims to maintain comfort and airflow while acting as a practical defense against liquids and stains.

How does this protector keep my mattress dry without feeling noisy?

The protector uses a thin, waterproof membrane below a 200 GSM bamboo viscose top layer so liquids can’t reach the mattress while the sleep surface stays soft and smooth. The bamboo viscose helps wick moisture and feels cool to the touch, reducing the clammy sensation that heavier waterproof covers can create.

• 200 GSM bamboo viscose surface for a soft, breathable touch
• Hidden waterproof layer blocks spills and sweat
• Low-profile construction minimizes crinkling and noise

Will it fit my deep mattress and stay in place all night?

This protector is made in a fitted style with elastic all around to secure the cover around the mattress skirt and corners. It stretches to fit mattresses up to 17 inches deep, reducing slipping, bunching, and the need for constant readjustment.

• King size dimensions: 78 x 80 inches to match standard king beds
• Elasticized fitted skirt ensures an even, snug fit
• Design prevents shifting during normal sleep movements

How do I care for the bamboo viscose protector so it lasts?

Follow simple home laundry steps to preserve both the bamboo surface and the waterproof backing. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low; avoid bleach, ironing, and fabric softeners which can damage the waterproof membrane and reduce breathability.

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle for long-term durability
• Tumble dry low; do not iron or bleach
• Avoid fabric softener to protect the waterproof layer

Is this protector comfortable for hot sleepers and everyday use?

The bamboo viscose top provides a cooler, smoother surface than many synthetic protectors, making it a good option for people who tend to sleep warm. Because it’s thin but effective, it works well under fitted sheets and everyday bedding without changing the feel of the mattress significantly.

• Breathable bamboo viscose reduces overheating
• Thin profile suitable under any sheet set
• Durable waterproof protection for daily use and accidents

Who is this for: This Utopia Bedding King Bamboo Viscose Waterproof Mattress Protector is for anyone who wants to extend mattress life and simplify cleaning without sacrificing comfort — ideal for homeowners, parents, pet owners, and people who prefer a cooler, quieter waterproof option that fits deep mattresses up to 17".
