Utopia Bedding Bamboo Viscose Waterproof Mattress Protector — Queen, fits up to 17-inch deep, breathable 200 GSM

Utopia Bedding’s Bamboo Viscose Waterproof Mattress Protector (Queen, fits up to 17") is a breathable, fitted cover that shields your mattress from spills and stains while keeping the sleeping surface soft and cool.

This queen-size mattress protector combines a smooth bamboo viscose sleep surface with a fully waterproof backing and an all-around elastic skirt to fit mattresses up to 17 inches deep. Designed for everyday use, the 200 GSM bamboo viscose face offers a soft, cooling touch and improved airflow compared with plain polyester covers, while the waterproof layer prevents liquids from reaching the mattress. It’s machine-washable for easy care and built to maintain a snug fit without shifting during the night.

How does this protector handle spills and accidents?

The protector’s waterproof backing prevents liquids from soaking into the mattress while the bamboo viscose top wicks some moisture away from the skin for a comfortable feel. It’s not a heavy plastic sheet—design balances protection with comfort.

• 100% waterproof barrier blocks spills, sweat, and stains.
• Absorbent top layer reduces surface pooling.
• Fully fitted skirt keeps the barrier in place for full coverage.

Will it stay on a tall mattress through tossing and turning?

The protector is made in a fitted-sheet style with elastic sewn all around the skirt, so it grips the mattress edges and resists slipping. It’s sized for standard queen dimensions and accommodates deeper mattresses up to 17 inches.

• Measures 60 x 80 inches—standard queen coverage.
• Elasticized skirt secures to mattress sides and corners.
• Fits mattresses up to 17" deep without bunching.

Is it comfortable and breathable for warm sleepers?

The top layer is 200 GSM bamboo viscose, which has a smooth, cool-to-the-touch feel and promotes airflow more than many synthetic protectors. The breathable surface helps reduce trapped heat while still delivering protection.

• Bamboo viscose face offers a soft, cooler sleep surface.
• 200 GSM weight balances durability and breathability.
• Lightweight construction avoids the clammy feel of plastic covers.

How do I care for the mattress protector to keep it effective?

Cleaning is simple—machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low to maintain waterproof performance and fabric softness. Avoid bleach, ironing and fabric softeners, which can degrade the waterproof layer.

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle.
• Tumble dry low; do not iron or bleach.
• Do not use fabric softener to preserve waterproofing.
