Veise KS02A Smart Fingerprint Deadbolt – Matte Black, AI Fast Unlock & Keypad

The Veise KS02A is a matte-black smart deadbolt that combines fast AI-driven fingerprint unlocking, keypad and mechanical key backup, and durable weatherproof hardware for secure, keyless home entry.

This compact deadbolt packs multiple modern access methods into a single lock designed for everyday family use, short-term rentals, and busy households. It stores fingerprints and passwords, generates one-time visitor codes, and offers mechanical key redundancy — all while meeting ANSI Grade 3 and BHMA standards and surviving outdoor exposure with an IP54 rating. Setup is tool-light and reversible, and local encryption keeps credentials stored on the device rather than the cloud.

How fast and accurate is the fingerprint recognition?

The KS02A uses an on-device Veise AI chip to register up to 20 fingerprints and optimize recognition over time. Typical unlock time is 0.2 seconds with claimed 99.99% identification reliability, while the system adapts with each successful scan to reduce false rejections.

• Stores up to 20 fingerprint profiles for family members.
• Instant unlocks in about 0.2 seconds for everyday convenience.
• Self-learning AI improves recognition accuracy through continued use.
• All biometric data is encrypted and stored locally on the lock.

What access methods and guest options are available?

The KS02A supports four access modes: fingerprint, user passwords, one-time visitor codes, and two physical keys. It separates a Master Password for the owner from user PINs and allows anti-peeping PIN entry so passcodes can be obscured visually.

• Create up to 20 user PINs for family or tenants and 20 fingerprints.
• Generate single-use codes for cleaners, contractors, or short-term guests.
• Anti-peeping code lets you prepend/append extra digits to hide the real PIN.
• Use two mechanical keys included as an emergency override.

How does the lock handle power, durability, and security settings?

Power comes from four AA alkaline batteries, offering up to about a year of typical operation with a visible low-battery LED alert. The unit is built from all-zinc alloy, rated ANSI Grade 3 and BHMA, and weather-sealed to IP54 standards for reliable performance in temperature extremes.

• Runs on 4 AA batteries for roughly 365+ days of use; low battery warning lights up.
• ANSI Grade 3 and BHMA certified for residential security expectations.
• IP54 splash and dust protection; operates between -31°F and 158°F.
• Silent Mode and Vacation Mode provide flexible noise and access controls.

Is installation and daily use straightforward for renters and homeowners?

Yes — the KS02A auto-detects left or right door orientation and installs with one screwdriver in about 15 minutes. It fits most standard doors and requires no hardwiring or drilling modifications, making it easy to remove or relocate.

• Quick DIY install in ≈15 minutes using only a screwdriver; reversible fit.
• Compatible with standard 2-1/8" (54mm) bore holes and 1-3/8"–2" door thicknesses.
• Rotatable interior knob for one-second manual locking/unlocking.
• Includes video guides, printed instructions, and US customer support.

Who is this for: The Veise KS02A is ideal for homeowners, families, and hosts who want a flexible, keyless deadbolt with biometric speed and multiple guest-access options. It’s also suited to renters and landlords seeking an easy-to-install, reversible smart lock that balances local data privacy, battery-powered convenience, and robust weather resistance without professional wiring.
