Vetericyn Dog Wound Care Hydrogel Spray 89 ml — Sprayable, pH-Balanced Soothing Gel for Cuts & Itchy Skin

Vetericyn Plus Dog Wound Care Hydrogel Spray is a sprayable, pH-balanced hydrogel that soothes minor cuts, scrapes, and itchy skin while helping protect the area from contamination.

This compact 3-ounce bottle delivers Vetericyn's hypochlorous-based formula in a convenient spray-gel that clings to skin and fur without running off. Designed for use on animals of all ages and species, the product pairs an easy-to-apply texture with a non-irritating, veterinarian-trusted approach to at-home wound support and skin comfort. The hydrogel format helps maintain moisture at the wound site while forming a protective barrier that resists dirt and debris.

How does this sprayable hydrogel help minor wounds and irritations?

The hydrogel adheres to skin and coats small cuts and abrasions so the area stays moist and cleaner than if left exposed. It helps reduce discomfort by creating a non-stinging, cooling contact and by minimizing friction from fur or movement.

• Sprayable gel consistency that clings to the site for prolonged contact
• pH-balanced, non-toxic hypochlorous-based formula
• Non-irritating and non-stinging on application
• Helps keep dirt and debris away from the wound

Can I use Vetericyn Plus Hydrogel on different animals and life stages?

Yes — the product is formulated for use on all animals and life stages, making it suitable for puppies, adult dogs, senior pets, and other species as directed. It's intended for everyday first-aid needs and routine care of minor skin issues.

• Safe for use on dogs, cats, and other animals per label guidance
• Appropriate for young and senior animals due to gentle formulation
• Useful for pets with active outdoor lifestyles or frequent minor injuries
• Non-antibiotic option for routine wound care and protection

How should I apply the 3-ounce spray gel for best results?

Clean the area gently, then spray the hydrogel directly onto the wound or irritated skin. Repeat applications according to need and product instructions until the site shows improvement; the gel helps reduce licking by forming a comfortable, clinging layer over the area.

• Gently remove debris before applying
• Spray from a short distance to cover the area evenly
• Reapply as needed, especially after activity or bathing
• Use an Elizabethan collar if persistent licking removes the gel

Is this product veterinarian recommended and how does it compare to other options?

Vetericyn Plus is widely used by pet owners and recommended by many veterinary professionals as an at-home first-aid support option. It offers a non-antibiotic, non-steroidal choice for routine wound care and skin comfort, focusing on safe topical support rather than systemic treatments.

• Manufactured by a brand known for at-home animal health solutions
• An anxiety-free, easy-to-use topical alternative for basic care
• Non-toxic and pH-balanced for sensitive application areas
• Cost-effective for ongoing minor wound support
