Vetoquinol Viralys is a maple-flavored L-lysine oral gel designed to support cats’ eye wellness, respiratory health, and everyday immune resilience in an easy-to-administer 5 oz tube.

This palatable gel delivers a consistent daily dose of L-lysine made for cats and kittens, helping caretakers manage sticky eye discharge, encourage respiratory balance, and add a gentle support to routine pet wellness. The smooth texture and pleasing flavor make it simple to give directly from the tube, mix into food, or apply to a paw or nose for finicky eaters. Vetoquinol formulates and reviews its products with veterinary standards in mind, aiming to provide clear usage guidance and dependable quality.

How should I give Vetoquinol Viralys to my cat each day?

Administering the gel is flexible to fit your cat’s preferences and your routine. Use the recommended daily amount from the tube, then choose whichever delivery method your cat accepts best. Avoid forcing, and consult your veterinarian for exact dosing for young kittens or special health needs.

• Give directly from the tube into the cat’s mouth for fast dosing.
• Mix into a small amount of wet food for picky eaters.
• Apply a small dab on the cat’s paw or nose to encourage licking and voluntary intake.
• Store the tube according to label directions to maintain freshness.

What does this lysine gel help with and what results can I expect?

The gel provides supplemental L-lysine intended to support normal ocular comfort and routine respiratory well-being as part of an overall care plan. It’s formulated to help manage symptoms like sticky eye discharge and to contribute to daily immune support, not to replace veterinary treatment for illness.

• Targets reduction of sticky eye discharge when used consistently.
• Supports everyday respiratory balance as part of a wellness regimen.
• Contributes to immune support alongside proper veterinary care.
• Works best when used regularly as directed rather than sporadically.

Is Vetoquinol Viralys easy for picky cats to accept?

Yes—this gel is maple-flavored and smooth, which helps with acceptance by choosy eaters. The multiple administration options make it simpler to incorporate into mealtime or grooming routines without stress for you or your cat.

• Palatable maple flavor increases chance of voluntary intake.
• Smooth gel texture reduces gagging or refusal during dosing.
• Multiple application methods allow creative feeding strategies.
• Convenient 5 oz tube provides many doses for daily use.

Are there safety or usage considerations I should know about?

Viralys is a dietary supplement intended to complement veterinary care. Check with your veterinarian for appropriate dose for kittens, interactions with other medications, or if your cat has a specific medical condition. Monitor your cat when introducing any new supplement and discontinue if unusual reactions occur.

• Use as directed on the label or by your veterinarian.
• Consult your vet for dosing in kittens or medically fragile cats.
• Watch for changes in appetite or behavior after starting the gel.
• Keep product stored per label to preserve effectiveness.
