Virbac C.E.T. Veggiedent Fr3sh Small dental chews for dogs — plaque & tartar control, breath-freshening

Virbac C.E.T. Veggiedent Fr3sh Small are plant-based daily dental chews that clean teeth, reduce plaque and tartar, freshen breath, and support healthy digestion for dogs 11–22 lbs.

These small Z-shaped chews are formulated by Virbac to combine mechanical cleaning with breath-freshening activity and a prebiotic to support gut balance. VOHC acceptance confirms they meet objective standards for tartar control, and their design helps your dog reach front and back teeth while chewing. The chews are gluten-free, moderate in calories, and designed for everyday use to add an easy dental routine to your dog’s life.

How do these chews actually clean my dog’s teeth?

The chews work primarily through mechanical abrasion: the Z-shaped profile encourages your dog to grasp and gnaw, scraping plaque and tartar from a wider tooth surface. That action, combined with the chew’s firm texture, increases contact with molars and premolars that are hard to reach with brushing alone.

• Z-shape maximizes prehension so dogs can chew end-to-end
• Firm, plant-based texture provides mechanical plaque removal
• Designed to reach front and back teeth during typical chewing

Will these chews freshen breath quickly and long term?

Yes — users report noticeable improvement from the first day and continued benefit over two weeks. The formula targets the oral causes of bad breath and includes breath-freshening agents that reduce odors while daily chewing maintains cleaner tooth surfaces and fresher breath over time.

• Ingredients that neutralize common oral odor sources
• Daily use delivers ongoing breath improvement
• Visible owner-observed results within days, improving over weeks

Are these chews safe and easy to digest for small dogs?

C.E.T. Veggiedent Fr3sh chews are plant-based and formulated without gluten, offering moderate calories suitable for small dogs. They include a prebiotic to support a balanced gut environment and are sized specifically for dogs between 11 and 22 pounds to reduce choking risk and encourage proper chewing.

• Sized for small dogs (11–22 lbs) with 48 kcal per chew
• Gluten-free and easily digestible plant-based formula
• Prebiotic ingredient supports healthy digestive flora

How should I use these chews as part of a dental routine?

Give one chew daily as a simple supplement to regular dental care practices like toothbrushing and professional check-ups. Monitor your dog the first few times to ensure appropriate chewing, then incorporate a daily schedule, such as one chew after a walk or in the evening.

• One chew per day per dog, monitor initial chewing
• Best used alongside brushing and routine veterinary care
• 30 chews per bag provide roughly a month of daily use
