VOLISUN 4x4 Solar Post Cap Lights — 12-Pack Black, IP64 Waterproof, Dusk-to-Dawn Solar Lighting

VOLISUN 4x4 Solar Post Cap Lights are a 12-piece set of black, weather-resistant solar caps designed to sit on standard 4x4 wood or vinyl posts and provide hands-free night illumination.

These compact solar post caps combine a low-profile design with an IP64-rated housing, two interchangeable bases for wood or vinyl posts, and a simple screw-on installation. Each lamp charges by sunlight for daytime energy harvest and switches on automatically after dusk, making them a practical upgrade for decks, fences, mailbox posts, and garden boundaries. The pack of 12 gives you consistent lighting across a run of posts or multiple small projects.

How do these post cap lights fit different 4x4 posts?

The set includes two base adapters that accommodate both common 4x4 wooden posts (actual 3.5" x 3.5") and 4x4 vinyl posts (actual 4" x 4"). Match the correct base to your post material, align the predrilled holes, and secure the unit with the supplied screws.

• Includes two base sizes for wood and vinyl posts
• Designed for standard 4x4 posts—confirm post dimensions before purchase
• Comes with 12 screws for straightforward mounting

What weather conditions can these lights withstand?

Each light is built with IP64-rated protection to resist splashing water and dust ingress, so it tolerates rain, snow, and typical outdoor debris. The construction also helps shield tops of posts from sun and moisture exposure that can accelerate wear.

• IP64-rated shell for dust and water spray resistance
• Durable materials that resist fading and light weathering
• Suitable for year-round outdoor use in most climates

How long do they run and how are they powered?

The caps rely on integrated solar panels and rechargeable cells that charge in direct sunlight. With a full daytime charge of about 6–8 hours, each unit typically operates through the night for roughly 10–12 hours, switching on automatically at dusk.

• Solar-powered—no wiring or electrician required
• 6–8 hours charging in sunlight yields about 10–12 hours runtime
• Automatic dusk-to-dawn operation for hands-off lighting
