Vornado 660 Large Air Circulator Fan - Black, 4-Speed, Adjustable Tilt, Whole-Room Vortex

The Vornado 660 is a powerful whole-room air circulator that uses Vornado's Vortex technology to move air up to 100 feet for consistent, quiet cooling in bedrooms, offices, and shared spaces.

Designed as a floor or tabletop solution, the Vornado 660 blends functional engineering with a compact, modern silhouette. Its deep-pitched blades, spiral grill and inlet guide cone create continuous, targeted airflow rather than a single blast, so the entire room experiences improved circulation. The unit measures 13.5" x 15" x 11.75", comes in a high-gloss black finish and plugs into any standard U.S. outlet for immediate use.

How does the Vornado 660 move air differently from a regular fan?

The 660 employs Vornado's signature Vortex circulation, which is built to circulate air in a continuous loop across a room instead of just producing a narrow stream. That design reduces pockets of still air and creates a steady, balanced breeze that reaches farther than conventional fans.

• Deep-pitched blades and inlet guide cone for stronger pressure and reach
• Spiral grill shapes airflow into a focused circulation pattern
• Effective whole-room circulation up to about 100 ft

Is it noisy and how many speed choices are there?

The Vornado 660 offers four push-button speed settings that let you dial in anything from near-silent background airflow to robust circulation. Even at higher speeds the aerodynamic design keeps sound levels reasonable compared with ordinary fans that rely on brute force.

• Four intuitive push-button speeds for easy adjustments
• Quiet operation on lower settings suitable for bedrooms or offices
• Higher settings available for rapid air exchange when needed

Can I aim the airflow where I want it?

Yes—the 660 includes a chrome glide bar that provides smooth 90-degree tilt adjustment so you can direct airflow up, down, or straight ahead. This makes it versatile as a floor fan, tabletop fan, or directional circulator for specific areas like a home office or bedside.

• Chrome glide bar enables precise angle positioning
• Compact footprint fits on floors, desks, and small tables
• Front grill removes easily for cleaning and maintenance

What maintenance and safety features should I expect?

The Vornado 660 is built with user convenience and safety in mind: the high-gloss front grill detaches for quick cleaning, and the unit is safety-tested for use with U.S. voltage. Vornado also backs the fan with up to a five-year limited warranty for added assurance.

• Detachable grill for fast cleaning and long-term performance
• Certified and safety-tested to U.S. voltage standards
• Up to 5-year replacement support from Vornado

Who is this for? The Vornado 660 is well suited for anyone seeking reliable whole-room air circulation without sacrificing space or style. It fits well in bedrooms, home offices, dorms, small living rooms, and kitchens where steady airflow and low noise matter. If you want a durable, easy-to-use fan that spreads air evenly rather than just blowing it nearby, this model is a practical choice—especially for U.S. households that appreciate simple controls, tilt adjustability, and straightforward maintenance.
