Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair Night Serum — Overnight leave-in treatment, reduces friction & breakage

This lightweight overnight serum is formulated to work as a protective and reconstructive step in the Wella ULTIMATE REPAIR system. Combining Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) with Omega-9 in a patented technology, the treatment targets weakened areas of the hair fiber to replenish the outer layer and reduce the friction and breakage that occur during sleep. Designed for salon-quality routines, it layers seamlessly with professional repair services and everyday color care.

How does this night serum help hair by morning?

The serum works while you sleep to minimize friction, smooth the hair surface and lock in conditioning agents so strands feel softer and look less frizzy at sunrise. Its lightweight gel-cream texture absorbs without heavy residue, allowing pillows and bedding to glide rather than tangle hair overnight.

• Provides continuous nourishment for up to 8 hours
• Reduces tangling and friction-related breakage
• Improves manageability and smooths surface cuticles

What active ingredients are inside and what do they do?

The formula uses a blend developed by Wella that pairs AHA with Omega-9 to act on different layers of the hair fiber. AHA works to improve surface texture while Omega-9 replenishes the outer barrier; defense polymers form a fine shield to guard against nightly stressors.

• Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA): refines and smooths hair surface
• Omega-9: rebuilds and replenishes the hair’s protective outer layer
• Defense polymers: create an invisible film to protect against friction

Can this serum prevent breakage and frizz?

While individual results vary, the overnight treatment is formulated to reduce mechanical stress from pillow contact and sleeping movement, which helps decrease tangling and hair breakage overnight. Users also report improved frizz control and up to visibly smoother-looking hair after a single night compared to non-conditioning shampoo use.

• Helps reduce pillow friction and mechanical damage
• Controls frizz and improves smoothness in the morning
• Supports easier detangling and styling after use

Who is this for: The ULTIMATE REPAIR Night Serum is suited to anyone seeking a salon-grade overnight boost — ideal for color- or lightened hair that needs targeted replenishment, people who experience nightly breakage or friction, and anyone wanting an easy step to reduce morning frizz and speed up styling. It complements the ULTIMATE REPAIR Miracle Hair Rescue and fits into routines that prioritize repair-focused, vegan-forward haircare.
