Wolistsa Wrap-Around Blackout Curtain Rod 36–120 in, Matte Black — Heavy-Duty 1" Steel, Supports 20.4 kg

The Wolistsa Wrap Around Blackout Curtain Rod is a heavy-duty, adjustable 36–120 inch metal rod designed to form a tight seal around windows for superior light blocking and smooth curtain operation.

Engineered for bedrooms, home theaters, and any space that benefits from reduced light or cleaner sightlines, this matte-black rod combines a wrap-around profile with a thick 1-inch steel tube and aluminum alloy ends. Its telescoping and spliced construction adapts to many window sizes while supporting heavier panels without sagging. The set ships with mounting hardware, finials, and clear instructions so you can complete installation quickly.

How does the wrap-around design improve light control?

The curved, return-style shape hugs the window frame to minimize gaps that let light sneak in—unlike flat rods that leave visible space at the edges. When paired with blackout or grommet curtains, the rod helps produce a near-seamless seal for darker rooms.

• Wrap-around profile reduces side light infiltration
• Ideal for blackout, grommet, rod-pocket, and tab-top curtains
• Complements room-darkening needs for bedrooms and media rooms

Will this rod hold heavy curtains without sagging?

Yes. Constructed from 0.5% carbon steel with a 1-inch diameter and 0.8mm wall thickness, the rod offers much greater rigidity than thinner, 5/8" alternatives. The robust materials and included bracket system support up to 45 pounds and maintain a straight line across long spans.

• Carbon steel core for improved stiffness
• Supports up to 45 lbs — suitable for heavier drapery
• Telescoping plus splicing design prevents mid-span sagging

How do I adjust and install the telescoping, spliced rod?

The rod includes six fixed sections and two telescoping pieces that slide to extend or retract; you can remove fixed sections or extend the inner rod to reach the exact length you need. Installation requires just one mounting bracket, seven anchors and screws, and the included finials—follow the step-by-step guide for a secure fit.

• Adjustable range: extends from 36" to 120" (fits 30"–116" windows)
• Package includes 6 rods, 2 finials, 1 bracket, 7 anchors, and 7 screws
• Clear instructions included for straightforward ceiling or wall mounting

Which curtain types and rooms pair best with this rod?

The matte-black finish and simple silhouette suit many decor styles—from modern and minimalist to farmhouse. It works well with blackout panels for bedrooms or media rooms, sheer curtains for layered looks, and even sliding doors or patios when a wrap-around profile is preferred.

• Compatible with grommet, back-tab, rod-pocket, and tab-top curtains
• Aesthetic fits bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, nurseries, patios
• Designed for both indoor and covered outdoor applications

Who is this for? The Wolistsa Wrap Around Blackout Curtain Rod suits homeowners and renters who want a durable, no-sag solution for tighter light control and polished window lines.
