How quickly will the SC06 alert me to smoke or carbon monoxide?

The SC06 combines a photoelectric smoke sensor with an electrochemical CO sensor to detect threats promptly while reducing false alarms. The alarm emits a loud 85 dB signal so occupants are alerted from other rooms, and built-in sensitivity upgrades improve response time for real hazards.

• Designed to minimize nuisance alarms from cooking or steam

What maintenance does the sealed 10-year battery require?

The SC06 uses a sealed lithium battery rated to power the unit for up to 10 years, eliminating routine battery replacements. A built-in end-of-life signal and low battery warning notify you when the device needs replacement, making upkeep straightforward and infrequent.

• Sealed lithium cell designed to last up to 10 years without battery swaps
• Low battery chirp warns in advance of end-of-life
• No annual battery replacement—reduces maintenance tasks
• Replace the entire unit after its designed service life for safety

Is installation and daily use simple for non-technical users?

Yes — the SC06 is a true plug-and-play alarm that installs without wiring or an electrician. The unit mounts quickly with included hardware and features a single button for testing and silencing, so household members can operate it without a manual full of technical steps.

• Battery-operated—no hardwiring needed
• Quick surface-mount installation with supplied bracket and screws
• One-button Test/Silence for simple operation by anyone

• Durable PC construction for long-lasting physical protection
