XPE Tri-Ball Trailer Hitch Mount for 2" Receiver Matte Black — 1-7/8", 2", 2-5/16" Balls + Hook, Welded Steel

The XPE Tri Ball Trailer Hitch Mount with Hook is a heavy-duty, matte-black 2" receiver accessory that gives you three ball sizes plus a hook for versatile towing without swapping hitches.

This all-in-one tri-ball hitch is built for drivers who tow different trailers and need quick, secure adaptability. Designed to fit standard 2" receivers, the mount combines 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" tow balls with an integrated hook, so you can match the correct coupling size and towing capacity in seconds. Constructed from welded steel with a corrosion-resistant finish, it balances rugged performance with low maintenance.

How does the tri-ball design save time and effort?

Instead of carrying multiple ball mounts or tools to change balls, the XPE tri-ball keeps three common sizes attached to one shank. Swapping which ball sits at the correct height only requires rotating the mount to the needed ball, making transitions at the hitch fast and simple.

• Three integrated ball sizes: 1-7/8", 2", 2-5/16" for broad trailer compatibility.
• Single 2" receiver shank fits standard hitch openings.
• Eliminates the need to store and install separate balls.

What towing capacities can I expect from each ball and the hook?

Each ball is rated for a different Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) so you can match capacity to trailer requirements. The hook adds an extra high-capacity point for recovery or heavy-duty towing situations when rated correctly and used with proper hardware.

• 1-7/8" ball: up to approximately 3,500 lbs GTW.
• 2" ball: up to approximately 5,000 lbs GTW.
• 2-5/16" ball: up to approximately 7,500 lbs GTW.
• Hook option: additional utility with up to roughly 10,000 lbs when installed and pinned correctly.

How durable and weather-resistant is this hitch mount?

The XPE tri-ball mount uses heavy-gauge steel and a protective finish to resist corrosion and wear from road salt, mud, and rain. Welded construction keeps components rigid under load, and the matte black electroplated/powder-coated surface simplifies cleaning and helps prevent surface rust.

• Welded steel construction for strength and longevity.
• Black electroplating and powder-coat for rust and dust protection.
• Designed to withstand repeated installations and outdoor storage.

What safety features should I rely on when towing with this mount?

Safety depends on proper installation and matching the hitch to both the vehicle and trailer capacities. The mount includes a solid attachment pin area and a traction hook that secures with the included pin to reduce play; always check fasteners and trailer specifications before each trip.

• Securing pin channel reduces chance of accidental disengagement.
• Hook and ball positions lock with the hitch pin for firm attachment.
• Follow vehicle and trailer GTW and tongue weight limits for safe towing.

Who is this for: The XPE Tri Ball Trailer Hitch Mount with Hook suits homeowners, farmers, RV owners, landscapers, and small-business fleets who tow multiple trailer types and value a single, durable solution over carrying several ball mounts. Choose this mount if you need quick compatibility across common coupler sizes, a high-capacity hook option, and a corrosion-resistant finish for frequent outdoor use. Always pair the mount with the correct hitch pin, wiring, and brake systems required for your trailer and obey your vehicle’s towing limits.
