Addtam Power Strip — 8 Outlets, 4 USB (2 USB-C) with 1080J Surge Protection and Flat Plug

The Addtam Surge Protector Power Strip delivers 12 simultaneous charging points—8 AC outlets and 4 USB (including 2 USB-C)—in a compact, mountable design with multi-stage surge protection.

Designed for home offices, living rooms, dorms and workshops, this three-sided power strip balances high capacity with space-saving details. It combines widely spaced AC sockets to accept bulky adapters, two high-current USB-C ports for fast device charging, and a low-profile flat plug on a braided 5 ft cord. Built-in safety electronics (TVS, MOV, GDT) and an overload switch help protect connected gear from surges and faults without adding bulk to your desk or entertainment center.

How many devices can it actually power at once and what are the USB specs?

The Addtam power strip supports up to 12 devices simultaneously: eight standard AC outlets plus four USB ports. Two of those USB ports are USB-C (up to 3A max each) and the two USB-A ports supply up to 2.4A each, with actual current governed by the connected device’s demand.

• 8 widely spaced AC outlets to fit large adapters without blocking neighbors
• 2x USB-C ports at up to 3A for phones, tablets and USB-C accessories
• 2x USB-A ports at up to 2.4A for older phones, earbuds, and gadgets
• Simultaneous use of AC and USB ports for full workspace coverage

What safety features protect my devices from surges and overloads?

Addtam integrates three surge-suppression technologies—TVS, MOV, and GDT—providing layered protection against voltage spikes. The unit has a minimum energy-absorbing capacity of 1080 joules and includes an overload on/off switch that cuts power if the strip detects dangerous conditions.

• Triple protection circuitry (TVS, MOV, GDT) for transient suppression
• 1080 joules minimum energy absorption for typical surge events
• Overload switch that automatically shuts off to protect connected equipment
• Built-in protection against over-voltage, over-current, over-charge, and short circuits

How does the design save space and make installation easier?

The three-side layout and 2-inch spacing between outlets keep big power bricks from blocking adjacent sockets, while the compact overall footprint (5.2 x 3.7 x 1.2 in) conserves desk or shelf space. A flat, angled plug and a 5 ft braided cord help the strip fit tight wall sockets, and screw-fixation points at both ends allow quick mounting to walls or under desks.

• 3-side outlet configuration to maximize usable sockets in small footprints
• 2" spacing between AC outlets fits oversized adapters comfortably
• Low-profile, angled flat plug for snug wall-to-floor clearance
• Screw-mount slots on each end for wall, desk, or TV mounting

Will this work for my home office, entertainment center, or workshop?

The Addtam strip is built for mixed-use environments where multiple chargers, monitors, consoles, or tools must share power without clutter. Its combination of plenty of AC outlets, two USB-C fast-charge ports, and protected circuitry makes it suitable for desks, media cabinets, dorm rooms, and small workbenches.

• Ideal for powering monitors, routers, printers, and laptop chargers
• Good for TV stands and consoles where big adapters need room
• Useful in dorms and small living spaces for multiple devices
• Mountable under desks or on walls for cleaner cable management

Who is this for? The Addtam Surge Protector Power Strip is aimed at anyone who needs many reliable outlets and fast USB-C charging in a compact, mountable package: remote workers with multiple peripherals, families with shared charging stations, students in dorm rooms, and hobbyists needing protected power for small tool setups. It’s especially helpful when bulky adapters, limited wall clearance, and surge protection are priorities—without sacrificing USB fast-charge capability.
