AMEROUS 15-Inch Magnetic Wooden Chess Set — Folding Travel Board with Storage, Extra Queens

The AMEROUS 15-inch Magnetic Wooden Chess Set is a handmade, folding travel board with magnetized wooden pieces and two extra queens for secure, portable play.

This compact chess set combines traditional wooden craftsmanship with modern convenience: magnetic chessmen that stay in place, a foldable board with internal piece storage, and a smooth finish that’s gentle to the touch. It’s designed for beginners and children (6+) while remaining satisfying for casual adult play during travel, family time, or classroom use.

How well do the magnetic pieces stay on the board during travel?

The pieces have embedded magnets that hold them firmly to the board, preventing accidental slips even when the set is moved. That stability makes the set suitable for cars, trains, and flights, and avoids the need to reset positions often.

• Strong magnets inside each carved wooden piece for secure attachment.
• Flat, recessed squares that help pieces align and resist sliding.
• Reliable on slightly bumpy surfaces—play without frequent adjustments.
