Babelio No-Bottom-Bar Baby Gate 28" Tall — Fits 26–43" W, White | Hardware-Mount, Auto-Close

The Babelio No Bottom Bar Baby Gate is a hardware-mounted, 28-inch tall safety gate that fits openings 26–43 inches wide and offers a sill-free, auto-close walk-through door for stairs, hallways, and doorways.

Keep toddlers and medium-sized pets safely separated from stairways and rooms without a tripping threshold. This Babelio gate installs with hardware for a secure, permanent fit and uses all-steel construction with a double-lock mechanism to resist impacts and deter curious hands. Its removable no-sill design provides a full-width opening for easy passage while reducing trip risk, and the one-handed, auto-close/stay-open features add everyday convenience.

How does the Babelio gate secure stairways and high-traffic openings?

The gate fastens to walls or newel posts with drill-mounted hardware, creating a fixed barrier ideal for the top of stairs and other critical locations. Hardware mounting avoids the movement and potential dislodging associated with pressure-mounted gates, giving a firmer, long-term install.

• Drill-to-wall installation compatible with wood, concrete, or brick surfaces
• All-steel frame that resists pet impact and child pressure
• Double-lock design to prevent accidental opening by children

What makes the no-bottom-bar design useful every day?

The sill-free threshold removes the raised bar at the bottom, making full-width passage smoother and safer for adults carrying children or items. Because the door opens the full width of the opening, you won’t need to step over a lip, which reduces stumbles and improves accessibility for strollers or vacuuming.

• Full-width walk-through without a bottom bar to step over
• Sill-less design minimizes tripping and eases movement of bulky items
• Wide opening better accommodates strollers and cleaning tasks

How simple is daily use—can I operate it one-handed?

Babelio designed the gate for hands-free convenience with one-handed opening and an auto-close function that gently returns the door to latch. There’s also a stay-open option to hold the gate open when you expect frequent traffic, so you can switch between secure and open modes quickly.

• One-handed latch release suitable for carrying children or objects
• Auto-close feature ensures the gate returns to a secure position
• Stay-open setting for extended, obstruction-free passage

Can this gate handle pets and rough use?

With a robust steel construction and reinforced locking, the gate resists pushing or jumping from medium-size pets while preventing toddlers from unfastening it. The materials and hardware-mount installation combine to produce a solid, durable barrier for everyday family activity.

• Heavy-duty steel frame designed for durability and impact resistance
• Secure double-locking system to deter persistent toddlers and pets
• Adjustable width accommodates openings from 26" to 43" for versatile placement

It’s especially appropriate for homes where a permanent, rock-solid installation is desired—top-of-stair protection, rental units with permitted drilling, or households with curious toddlers and medium pets that require a sturdy, trip-free solution.
