Cumbor Baby Gate 30–40.6 in Adjustable Walk-Through Gate, White — Dual-Lock & Auto-Close

The Cumbor 30–40.6 in baby gate is a metal, adjustable walk-through safety gate with dual-lock security, baseboard-friendly wall cups, and both pressure- and hardware-mount options for stair and doorway protection.

This sturdy white gate is designed to keep toddlers and pets out of potentially hazardous zones like staircases, kitchens, or off-limit rooms while letting adults pass comfortably. It combines a wide 22.3-inch walk-through opening, a low-profile step pedal, and included extensions so it fits openings from 30 to 40.6 inches without compromising stability. Built-in features such as an auto-close function, dual-lock mechanism, and baseboard wall cups make it adaptable to common household layouts.

How does the dual-lock system and auto-close improve everyday safety?

The gate uses two separate locking actions to reduce accidental openings by curious toddlers or energetic pets. The auto-close feature brings the gate gently back to the latch when it swings beyond a certain angle, decreasing the chances it’s left open by mistake.

• Dual-lock prevents single-action openings by little hands.
• Auto-close reduces user error and forgotten open gates.
• Durable metal construction adds impact resistance compared with plastic models.

Can I install this gate where my baseboards or wall trim are present?

Yes — the package includes baseboard wall cups to keep upper and lower pressure points aligned when mounting against baseboards or trim. Using the wall cups prevents rocking and helps maintain a secure seal without damaging molding when properly installed.

• Baseboard wall cups included for trim-friendly fit.
• Follow the installation guide to position cups for best stability.
• Works with both pressure- and hardware-mounted setups depending on location.

What makes the walk-through door and step pedal convenient?

The main door opens to a generous 22.3 inches, wider than many walk-through gates, making it easier to carry a child or groceries through without maneuvering. The low-profile step pedal sits close to the floor to allow stroller and foot traffic with minimal trip risk.

• 22.3" clearance simplifies carrying items through the doorway.
• Low-profile step pedal reduces tripping hazards for adults.
• Quick-release swing makes daily use faster while keeping safety intact.

Which mounting option should I choose: pressure or hardware?

Pressure-mounting is tool-free, quick to install, and supports up to 150 lbs — a good choice for doorways and temporary setups. For stair tops or areas with heavy traffic and active pets, the included hardware-mount secures the gate to the wall and withstands more force for a safer long-term installation.

• Pressure mount: fast, tool-free, holds up to 150 lbs for non-critical openings.
• Hardware mount: recommended for stairs and high-impact areas, rated above 210 lbs.
• Extensions included so the gate fits 30"–40.6" openings without extra parts.

Who is this for: The Cumbor 30–40.6 in baby gate fits families and pet owners who need a reliable, adaptable barrier for stairways, wide doorways, and hallways. It's ideal for parents who want a wider walk-through opening for carrying children or groceries, households with baseboard trim that require non-damaging wall cups, and anyone who values the choice between quick pressure mounting and more secure hardware installation.
