Diono Solana backless booster seats, Pack of 2 Black — lightweight, machine washable covers & cup holders

The Diono Solana 2-pack are backless belt-positioning booster seats that lift children to the correct seat-belt height while remaining light, washable, and travel-friendly.

Designed for growing kids from 40 to 120 lb and up to 63 inches tall, this pair of backless boosters offers parents the flexibility to keep one at home and one in the car or trunk. The Solana boosters focus on portability and everyday comfort: contoured padding, integrated cup holders, and covers that pop off for the washing machine make them practical for busy families and road trips.

How do the Solana boosters position the seat belt properly?

The Solana uses an ergonomic shoulder belt positioner and a contoured seating area to guide the vehicle belt across a child’s chest, not their neck. That helps the belt sit where it’s designed to protect, while the open back keeps installation quick and simple using the car’s lap-and-shoulder belt.

• Shoulder belt positioner aligns the strap at the correct shoulder location.
• Contoured base raises kids to proper lap-belt placement.
• Open back makes fastening and checking the buckle easier for caregiver or child.

Are these boosters convenient for families who travel or carpool?

Yes — the Solana 2-pack emphasizes portability so you can leave one in the trunk, with a caregiver, or at a second vehicle. Each booster is lightweight enough to carry and stores flat in tighter spaces, while built-in cup holders keep drinks and snacks contained on the go.

• Pack of two lets you maintain spares for different vehicles or caregivers.
• Lightweight shell eases transport and storage between trips.
• Two elastic cup holders provide secure spots for beverages and snacks.

How easy is cleanup and everyday maintenance?

The Solana covers are removable and machine washable so routine spills and dirt are quick to handle. Premium, layered foam padding is sewn under soft fabrics for comfort and support, yet the cover unhooks without special tools for fast laundering.

• Removable fabric covers unzip for machine washing.
• Layered foam retains shape while still being easy to clean around.
• Durable fabrics resist regular wear from daily use and travel.

What age and size range is this booster pair suitable for?

The Diono Solana backless boosters accommodate children typically ready for a belt-positioning booster through the later childhood years. They’re rated for kids from 40 to 120 lb and up to 63 inches tall, covering many years of use so one booster can last through growth stages.

• Weight range: 40–120 lb (suitable for older toddlers and school-age kids).
• Height limit: up to 63 inches tall for proper belt fit.
• Designed as an extended-use booster — one single booster can serve a child for multiple years.

Who is this for? The Diono Solana 2-pack is ideal for families with school-age children who need a practical, portable booster solution that balances safety-conscious belt positioning with travel convenience. It’s well-suited for parents who want a spare seat for carpools, grandparents’ vehicles, or frequent road trips, and for caregivers who prefer a machine-washable, lightweight booster that still offers comfortable padding and secure cup storage.
