DUMOS 2x30.3 L Dual Bin Stainless Steel – Soft-Close Lid, Fingerprint-Resistant

The DUMOS 2x8-gallon dual trash can is a stainless-steel, pedal-operated waste station with two removable inner buckets and soft-close lids for tidy sorting and low-noise use.

This dual-compartment garbage bin is engineered to make kitchen waste sorting simple while keeping odors contained and surfaces smudge-free. Built from fingerprint-resistant stainless steel and heavy-duty plastics, it combines a sleek modern look with practical features like an industrial-grade foot pedal, two lift-out buckets for easy emptying, and a soft-close mechanism to prevent loud lid slams. It fits next to counters, islands, or in small utility spaces and is sized to handle everyday household refuse without frequent bag changes.

How does the dual-bucket design simplify recycling and trash separation?

The two separate 8-gallon inner buckets let you keep recyclables and general waste separated at the point of disposal, reducing cross-contamination and the need for a second bin. Each bucket lifts out independently for quick emptying, rinsing, or swapping liners.

• Two 8-gallon removable inner buckets for simultaneous sorting
• Distinct compartments reduce odor transfer between waste types
• Buckets are lightweight for easy carrying and cleaning

What makes the pedal and lid mechanism durable and quiet?

DUMOS fits an industrial-grade steel foot pedal and tested hinge system designed to survive extensive daily use. The soft-close lids gently lower without slamming, creating a quieter kitchen environment and prolonging hinge life.

• Foot pedal rated for 150,000+ steps for reliable operation
• Soft-close hinge prevents noisy lid impacts
• Pedal combines steel and plastic for a responsive, comfortable step

Is the exterior easy to maintain and resistant to fingerprints?

The trash can’s stainless-steel body features a smudge-resistant finish that helps conceal fingerprints and spots between cleanings. Routine wipes with a soft cloth and mild cleaner restore its brushed look quickly without special products.

• Fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel surface for low-maintenance care
• Curved, seamless panels that wipe clean easily
• Removable inner buckets allow deep cleaning without moving the whole unit

Where does this bin fit best in a home or office layout?

The slim footprint and neutral stainless finish let the dual can blend into many locations from the kitchen to a home office. Its moderate combined capacity suits households that want organized sorting without dedicating large floor space to multiple separate bins.

• Compact profile fits beside counters, islands, or in small utility rooms
• Works well in kitchens, laundry rooms, bathrooms, and offices
• Two-bucket system reduces the need for a second standalone bin

Who is this for? The DUMOS dual trash can is a practical choice for individuals, couples, or small families who want a neat, odor-contained solution for sorting garbage and recyclables without sacrificing floor space or aesthetics. It’s also suited to home offices and shared spaces where quiet, hands-free operation and easy maintenance matter. If you prefer simple waste separation, a smudge-resistant exterior, and a reliable pedal that stands up to frequent use, this bin is built to meet those needs.
