ENO Atlas Suspension System hammock tree straps — Black/Royal, no-knot webbing with 30 adjustment points

The ENO Atlas Suspension System is a tree-protecting, no-knot hammock strap set that makes hanging a hammock fast, secure, and suitable for backcountry or backyard use.

Designed by ENO for campers, hikers, and weekend relaxers, the Atlas Suspension System replaces fiddly knots with a simple webbing-and-buckle design that spreads load, safeguards tree bark, and gives you precise adjustment with 30 attachment points. These straps combine lightweight durability with a user-friendly layout so you can set up or take down your hammock quickly whether you’re on a multi-day trek or at a campsite.

How does the Atlas system speed up hammock setup?

Atlas straps use sewn loops and a cam buckle so you don’t have to tie knots or wrestle with rope. You wrap the strap around the tree, clip the carabiner to a selected loop, and tension with the buckle in seconds.

• No-knot hanging using sewn loops and a high-strength buckle
• 30 attachment points let you fine-tune height and sag quickly
• Lightweight 9 oz construction keeps pack weight low
• Carabiner and strap interface for fast clip-and-go setup

Is the Atlas strong enough for solo or shared use?

The straps are engineered to hold up to 400 lbs, making them suitable for most solo sleepers and many paired users depending on hammock capacity. The high-strength webbing and secure buckle create a reliable anchor when installed correctly.

• Rated 400 lb working load for common camping scenarios
• Heavy-duty webbing resists stretching and abrasion
• Sturdy buckle maintains tension under load
• Compatible with most ENO and other carabiner-style hammocks

Will these straps harm trees or fragile bark?

ENO designed the Atlas system with wider webbing to distribute pressure across a larger surface, which reduces impact on tree bark compared with narrow rope. Using the straps as intended minimizes damage, and ENO emphasizes responsible hanging practices and durable materials that help protect trees.

• Increased strap width spreads load to reduce bark compression
• No-knot method prevents cutting or concentrated pressure points
• Recommended for Leave No Trace–minded hanging in most locations
• Durable construction resists fraying so straps remain tree-friendly over time

How does the Atlas Suspension System fit into a hiker’s pack?

At about 9 ounces, the Atlas straps balance low weight with robust performance, sliding into packs without significant bulk. The compact roll and versatile use make them an easy add-on for day hikes, ultralight setups, or full backpacking kits.

• Approximately 9 oz total weight for minimal pack impact
• Rolls or folds compactly for efficient stowage
• Works with camping, hiking, and backyard hammocks
• Durable materials withstand repeated use on trail and campsite
