FROG Bac Pac Replacement Chlorine Cartridges for Pool FROG 5400/6100 — 3-Pack, 998 g Prefilled Trichlor for Consistent Dosing

FROG Bac Pac Replacement Chlorine Cartridges are prefilled trichlor pods designed to drop into Pool FROG Model 5400 and 6100 cyclers, delivering measured chlorine for steady, low-maintenance pool sanitation.

These ready-to-install Bac Pacs simplify pool care by supplying consistent doses of trichlor so you don’t have to measure chemicals. Each cartridge contains 2.2 lbs of trichlor and is made to fit the housing in FROG 5400 and 6100 cyclers, helping maintain clearer water while pairing with FROG’s mineral technology to reduce overall chlorine demand.

How do these Bac Pac cartridges fit my Pool FROG cycler?

Each Bac Pac is molded to match the chamber dimensions of Pool FROG Model 5400 and Model 6100 cyclers for a straightforward swap. No special tools are required — simply open the cycler, remove the spent cartridge, and insert a new prefilled Bac Pac.

• Pre-measured 2.2 lb trichlor cartridge tailored for FROG 5400/6100
• Tool-free installation in under a minute
• Prefilled design eliminates measuring and loose chemicals

What dosing and replacement schedule should I expect?

The Bac Pacs dispense trichlor gradually to maintain sanitizer levels without frequent adjustments. Typical replacement runs between one and three weeks depending on pool size, bather load, and weather conditions.

• Average life per cartridge: 1–3 weeks
• Replace more often with heavy use or hot weather
• Three-cartridge pack offers several weeks of continuous service

Will these cartridges change how much chlorine my pool uses?

When combined with FROG mineral systems, Bac Pacs help reduce the amount of free chlorine needed to keep water balanced. The cycler dispenses only the required chlorine, which can lead to significantly lower chlorine consumption compared with manual dosing.

• Measured release minimizes over-chlorination
• Compatible with FROG minerals to lower overall chlorine demand
• Gentler on swimwear, surfaces, and skin than inconsistent dosing

Are these safe to handle and store?

Bac Pacs arrive prefilled and sealed, reducing contact with loose chemicals during installation. Store cartridges in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and follow label instructions to keep them stable until use.

• Prefilled, sealed cartridges reduce dust and spills
• Keep away from heat, ignition sources, and incompatible materials
• Dispose of used cartridges according to local regulations
