FROG Maintain Non-Chlorine Hot Tub Shock — 12 Single-Dose Packets, Fast-Dissolving Monopersulfate for Clear Water (Up to 2271 L)

FROG Maintain for Hot Tubs is a ready-to-use, non-chlorine shock in single-dose packets designed to dissolve quickly, remove organic contaminants, and refresh hot tub water without handling powders or liquids.

Keep hot tub water clear and comfortable with an easy-to-dose monopersulfate shock that complements any FROG sanitizing system. These prefilled packets are formulated to work with FROG @ease and FROG Serene programs and are safe with most hot tub chemistries (avoid use with biguanide systems). Each single-dose packet treats up to 600 gallons, making routine maintenance straightforward whether you have a small portable spa or a larger in-ground model.

How often should I use FROG Maintain with my hot tub?

Frequency depends on which FROG sanitizing program you use: monthly for FROG @ease and weekly for FROG Serene. If you experience heavy bather load, after-party use, or visible cloudiness, add an extra treatment to restore clarity.

• FROG @ease: one packet once a month for up to 600 gallons.
• FROG Serene: one packet once a week for up to 600 gallons.
• After heavy use or cloudiness: treat immediately to remove organic waste.
• Do not combine with biguanide systems.

Will this product work with my existing hot tub chemicals?

FROG Maintain is a monopersulfate non-chlorine shock and is broadly compatible with most hot tub chemistries and water care programs. It pairs particularly well with FROG mineral and sanitizing cartridges but should not be used with biguanide-based systems.

• Compatible with FROG @ease and FROG Serene sanitizers.
• Safe alongside most chlorine and bromine systems when used as directed.
• Not compatible with biguanide (PHMB) sanitizers.
• Designed to avoid altering sanitizer balance when dosed per instructions.

How easy is it to apply a single-dose packet?

Application is simple and mess-free: cut open the prefilled packet and pour the contents directly into the hot tub. The powder dissolves quickly and starts working immediately to oxidize organic contaminants, with no measuring or direct chemical handling required.

• Prefilled single-dose packet—no weighing or scoops needed.
• Fast-dissolving formula for quick water clarity improvement.
• Each packet treats up to 600 gallons; one packet per recommended interval.
• Safe, convenient option for routine and emergency treatments.

What benefits does using FROG Maintain regularly provide?

Regular use helps keep water clear, reduces daily maintenance time, and helps sanitize more effectively when used alongside FROG systems. The non-chlorine oxidizer targets organic load—such as lotions, oils, and body waste—so sanitizers can work efficiently without overuse.

• Removes organic contaminants that cause cloudiness and odor.
• Helps maintain balanced, clearer water with less sanitizer demand.
• Prefilled packets reduce user error and chemical exposure.
• Compatible with most FROG sanitizing setups for predictable results.

Who is this for: FROG Maintain for Hot Tubs is ideal for hot tub owners who want a low-fuss, effective oxidizer that works seamlessly with FROG sanitizing systems. It's a good match for families, frequent entertainers, rental property managers, and anyone who prefers premeasured, safe-to-handle treatments. If you use a biguanide program, choose a compatible oxidizer instead; otherwise, these single-dose packets simplify maintenance while protecting water clarity and comfort.
