Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat — Cullen (Black) with 4-Position Extension Panel, 3-in-1 1.81–45.4 kg

The Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat gives infants and toddlers extra rear-facing legroom with a 4-position extension panel so they can ride safely rear-facing for longer.

Designed to adapt as your child grows, the Graco Extend2Fit moves from rear-facing harness to forward-facing harness and finally to a highback booster. Its standout feature is an adjustable extension panel that adds up to 5 inches of rear-facing legroom, combined with a 50 lb rear-facing limit. The seat also includes Graco’s ProtectPlus engineered crash protection, an easy one-motion headrest and harness adjustment, and convenient harness storage pockets for faster, neater buckling.

How does the extension panel help rear-facing travel?

The 4-position extension panel slides out to create more space between the child’s knees and the vehicle seat, enabling a longer, more comfortable rear-facing fit. That extra room supports keeping smaller children rear-facing until they meet the seat’s upper limits.

• Up to 5 inches of additional legroom with four extension settings
• Simpler positioning for taller infants and toddlers without compromising harness fit
• Helps maintain appropriate rear-facing posture for longer periods

What weight and age ranges does this car seat cover?

This model is built to grow with children across three modes: rear-facing harness, forward-facing harness, and highback booster. Weight ranges are broad so you can rely on one seat through early childhood transitions.

• Rear-facing harness: 4–50 lb
• Forward-facing harness: 26.5–65 lb
• Highback booster: 40–100 lb

How easy is it to install and adjust day to day?

The Extend2Fit aims to reduce fuss during installation and daily use with quick LATCH connection and a synchronized headrest and harness system. Little conveniences like harness storage pockets keep straps out of the way during loading and unloading.

• InRight LATCH provides one-second attachment for quicker installs
• No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust lets you raise the headrest and harness together in one motion
• Harness storage pockets keep straps organized while placing your child

What safety features does the seat include?

Graco designed the Extend2Fit with multi-directional crash performance testing in mind. While no car seat can eliminate risk, this model incorporates engineered features intended to improve protection during various crash scenarios.

• Graco ProtectPlus Engineered: tested across frontal, side, rear and rollover scenarios
• Secure harness system with multiple height positions for correct fit
• Rigid shell and energy-absorbing materials in key zones

Who is this for: Parents and caregivers who want a single car seat that supports extended rear-facing without switching seats early. It’s well suited for families who value easy installation, flexible adjustment, and a long service life—from infancy through booster age—while prioritizing extended rear-facing capability.
