Grandpa Gus's Mouse Repellent Pouches — Natural Peppermint & Cinnamon, 16-Pack, 30-Day Scent Barrier for Garages & Storage

Grandpa Gus's Mouse Repellent Pouches are natural, no-kill sachets infused with peppermint and cinnamon oils that create an aromatic barrier mice avoid.

These compact, ready-to-use pouches release a strong, natural scent designed to make enclosed, low-airflow spaces uncomfortable for mice without using poisons, traps, or harsh chemicals. Each box contains 16 pre-scented sachets formulated for up to 30 days of scent life per placement, ideal for seasonal storage, garages, attics, vehicle cabins, sheds, and other areas where mice might nest.

How do these pouches actually deter mice?

The pouches rely on concentrated essential oils—peppermint and cinnamon—that overwhelm mice's sensitive olfactory receptors, encouraging them to avoid treated areas. This is a behavioral deterrent rather than a lethal method; treat active infestations first and then use pouches as a preventative barrier.

• Dual-oil formula intensifies scent compared with peppermint-only products.
• Works best in enclosed or low-airflow spaces where scent concentrates.
• Non-toxic to humans and pets when used as directed—no poison or snap traps.

Where should I put these sachets for the best protection?

Place pouches along walls, inside corners, inside storage boxes, under floor joists, and near suspected entry points—anywhere mice travel or nest. For vehicles, tuck sachets into glove compartments, under seats, or in engine bays (away from moving parts) to keep rodents out of stored cars and boats.

• Use one pouch every 2–4 feet along walls in small rooms or compartments.
• Place inside sealed storage bins and beneath tarps covering seasonal gear.
• Replace pouches when scent fades, typically up to 30 days depending on conditions.

How long do the pouches last and how often should I replace them?

Each pouch is formulated to provide noticeable scent protection for up to 30 days under typical enclosed conditions. High airflow, heavy contamination, or active infestations can shorten effectiveness, so inspect pouches monthly and refresh when their aroma weakens.

• Expect up to 30 days of scent in enclosed areas.
• Check monthly in garages, attics, and vehicles; replace sooner if scent is faint.
• For season-long protection, rotate new pouches when storing items long-term.

Are these pouches safe around children and pets?

Grandpa Gus's pouches use EPA-compliant peppermint and cinnamon oils rather than toxic rodenticides, making them a safer alternative when used as directed. Keep pouches out of reach of curious children and pets and avoid direct contact with eyes or mucous membranes.

• Non-poisonous, no-kill approach preferred for family homes.
• Store and place pouches where children and pets cannot access them.
• Follow label directions for safe placement and disposal.

Who is this for: These pouches suit homeowners, renters, RV and boat owners, and anyone storing seasonal gear who prefers a humane, scent-based mouse deterrent. They are especially helpful for people who want a chemical-free, easy-to-use preventative in enclosed spaces—attics, basements, garages, sheds, vehicle cabins, and storage boxes—without setting traps or using baits. If you are addressing an active infestation, combine these pouches with mechanical control or professional services first, then use Grandpa Gus's sachets to help keep mice from returning.
