Grandpa Gus's Mouse Repellent Pouches — Natural Peppermint & Cinnamon, 10-Pack, Non-Poison Scent Barrier for Enclosed Spaces

Grandpa Gus's Mouse Repellent Pouches use a natural peppermint and cinnamon oil formula to keep mice out of enclosed spaces without poisons or traps. These compact, scent-forward pouches are designed for preventative and routine use in areas where mice like to nest or travel. Each pouch releases a concentrated blend of peppermint and cinnamon oils that mice find aversive; placed in low-airflow, enclosed locations they create an odor barrier that reduces the chance of infestation. The pouches are EPA-compliant and intended for non-lethal control when used as directed, making them a practical option for homes, vehicles, storage, and seasonal equipment.

How do these pouches actually deter mice?

The active effect comes from strong, natural oils—peppermint plus cinnamon—that irritate mice’s sensory receptors and make treated areas uncomfortable for them. Rather than killing mice, the pouches create a consistent scent environment that discourages nesting and travel through treated zones.

• Dual-oil formula increases potency compared with single-oil repellents.
• Works best in enclosed or low-airflow spaces where scent can concentrate.
• Use as a barrier after addressing any existing infestation for best results.

Where should I place the pouches for the strongest protection?

Place pouches along walls, inside corners, and near entry points that mice use—especially in places with limited ventilation where the oils can linger. Think attics, basements, garages, sheds, vehicle cabs, and stored boats or RV compartments.

• 50–100 square feet per pouch in enclosed areas for optimal coverage.
• Put pouches every few feet along likely travel routes and nesting spots.
• Replace when scent fades, typically up to 30 days depending on airflow and temperature.

Are these safe to use around family, pets, and stored food?

The product is formulated without poisons, DEET, or snap traps and is intended for use in areas where people and pets live when used as directed. Avoid placing pouches where children or pets can directly handle them, and don’t place them in direct contact with open food containers.

• EPA-compliant peppermint and cinnamon oils, non-lethal approach.
• Store and place out of reach of curious hands and paws.
• Not a food-grade product—keep away from consumables and food prep areas.

How long do the pouches last and how often should I replace them?

Each pouch typically provides noticeable scent protection for up to 30 days, but lifespan varies with airflow and temperature—higher ventilation shortens effective time. Monitor scent and replace pouches as soon as the aroma fades to maintain a continuous deterrent effect.

• Expected scent life: up to 30 days in enclosed spaces.
• Check monthly, more frequently in drafty or warm areas.
• After treating an active problem, continue replacement to prevent return.

Who is this for? Grandpa Gus's Mouse Repellent Pouches are aimed at homeowners, renters, and anyone who stores seasonal gear or vehicles and wants a non-lethal, low-effort way to discourage mice. They fit well for people who prefer natural oil-based solutions, need a safe option around family and pets (when used responsibly), or want an easy "set it and check it monthly" item for attics, basements, garages, boats, RVs, and storage sheds. These pouches are not a stand-alone remedy for heavy infestations; combine them with sanitation, exclusion, and, if necessary, professional pest control for the best outcome.
