hersohis Rodent Repellent Balls 48-Pack — Peppermint Oil Mouse & Rat Deterrent, Slow-Release 60–90 Day Protection

These are 48 hersohis rodent-repellent balls infused with concentrated peppermint and botanical oils that naturally deter mice and rats indoors and outdoors.

If you want a low-effort, non-toxic option to reduce rodent activity, these compact scent balls provide a plant-based alternative to traps and poisons. Packaged in eight sealed pouches for freshness, each ball releases a steady aromatic barrier over weeks, making them suitable for attics, basements, garages, RVs, sheds and more. The formula is designed to be family- and pet-friendly when used as directed and can be placed wherever pests are likely to enter or nest.

How do these balls keep mice and rats away?

The product relies on a concentrated blend of botanical oils—peppermint oil being primary—that produce an odor rodents instinctively avoid. Instead of killing pests, the scent encourages them to relocate, reducing the chance of nests and chewed wiring. Continuous evaporation maintains a protective perimeter, so you don’t need daily attention.

• Concentrated peppermint and botanical oils as the active scent barrier
• Slow release design providing 60–90 days of coverage per placement
• Packaged in sealed pouches to preserve potency until use

Where should I place the repellent balls for best results?

Place the balls in high-risk and entry areas: along baseboards, inside cupboards, behind appliances, in attic corners, near garage doors, and around RV compartments. Outdoors or in breezy spaces, increase the number used and spread them to maintain scent density. Replace or refresh after the recommended interval or sooner if scent fades.

• Inside pantries, cabinets and storage boxes to protect food and fabrics
• In attics, basements, and behind appliances near potential entry points
• Garages, sheds, RV storage bays, and vehicle engine compartments for broad coverage

Are these safe for families, pets, and gardens?

The formula is plant-based and designed to be safer than poisons when used as instructed; it’s intended for households with children and pets. Keep balls out of reach of curious animals and small children to prevent ingestion. For garden use, place them in protected spots rather than directly in vegetable beds to avoid affecting beneficial insects.

• Made from natural plant-derived ingredients rather than toxic chemicals
• Suitable for indoor use around people and pets when positioned responsibly
• Not meant to be consumed—store in secure locations away from children and animals

How long does one placement last and when should I replace them?

Each placement is engineered to emit scent for approximately 60 to 90 days under typical indoor conditions. High airflow, open outdoor spaces, or strong ventilation may shorten effectiveness, so increase quantity or replace sooner in those environments. For ongoing protection, rotate fresh balls into trouble spots at the end of their scent life.

• Standard indoor coverage: 60–90 days per placement
• High-ventilation or outdoor areas: use more balls and check every 30–60 days
• Comes in eight sealed packs to stagger use and keep remaining balls fresh

Who is this for? These hersohis repellent balls suit homeowners, renters, and vehicle owners who prefer a non-lethal, low-maintenance approach to deter rodents. They are useful for anyone needing seasonal or ongoing protection in attics, basements, kitchens, garages, RVs, boats, workshops and garden storage. If you want an easy "place and protect" product that reduces the need for traps or chemical baits, these scent balls offer a practical, plant-based option to help keep rodent activity at bay.
