Lincoln Logs 100th Anniversary Tin — 111-piece All-Maple Building Set in Keepsake Tin, Classic Cabin Stain

The Lincoln Logs 100th Anniversary Tin is a collectible 111-piece, all-maple building set that recreates the original "Meeting House" design and packs into a keepsake tin for easy storage.

This special-edition Lincoln Logs set honors a century of imaginative play with authentic, USA-made maple pieces stained in classic cabin colors. Each component is precision-cut with the signature notches that let logs interlock, and the kit includes parts for roofs, facades, walls, chimney, porch, fences, bonfire, and seating. The tin includes step-by-step plans for three model options—tall tower, two small houses with a bonfire, and one large cabin—while also inviting open-ended construction and creative variation.

How does this set bring classic play to today’s children?

The 100th Anniversary Tin preserves traditional tactile play that encourages hands-on problem solving and imaginative storytelling. Young builders use spatial reasoning and fine motor skills as they select and fit pieces together, whether following the instructions or inventing new structures. The maple wood pieces feel substantial and safe for preschool-age children and older kids who enjoy retro toys.

• 111 real maple wood pieces with carved notches for secure fitting
• Three printed build guides plus freedom to design custom structures
• Stained finishes that mimic authentic cabin aesthetics
• Made in the USA for consistent quality and durability

What exactly is in the tin and how is it organized?

The tin contains a full complement of logs and accessory parts needed to assemble the featured models and many variations beyond them. Pieces are sized and shaped to stack and slot together, and the included manual outlines three construction options but doesn’t limit creative play. After use, every part fits back into the collectible tin for neat storage and easy transport.

• 111 total pieces including roof sections, roof facades, wall logs, and chimney
• Accessory elements: porch, fences, bonfire, and bonfire seats
• Compact metal tin designed to hold all components securely
• Spot or wipe clean for simple maintenance

Why is this set a good fit for STEAM/STEM learning?

Building with Lincoln Logs introduces early engineering concepts such as balance, symmetry, and structural planning without screens or batteries. The physical act of selecting parts, testing fits, and iterating designs helps children develop spatial awareness and logical thinking. These playful exercises reinforce foundational skills that support later STEAM/STEM learning in an age-appropriate way.

• Hands-on construction fosters problem solving and sequencing
• Manipulating different pieces improves fine motor control
• Open-ended play encourages experimentation and creativity
• Clear model plans teach following steps and adapting designs

How does this anniversary edition differ from standard sets?

This centennial release is styled after one of the earliest Lincoln Logs builds, the "Meeting House," and comes packaged in a commemorative tin meant for collecting and gifting. The finishing details—distinctive staining of walls, roof facade, and rooftops—are chosen to evoke nostalgic cabin charm. Its 111-piece count and exclusive packaging make it both a display piece and a durable play set.

• Commemorative tin packaging for display and storage
• Authentic color scheme: brown logs, muted red facades, forest-green roofs
• Designed to honor the original 1916 concept by John Lloyd Wright
• Suitable for play across multiple generations

Who is this for? The Lincoln Logs 100th Anniversary Tin is ideal for families who value classic, tactile toys—parents and grandparents who remember Lincoln Logs fondly, collectors seeking a commemorative piece, and caregivers looking for a durable, screen-free STEM activity for children ages 3 and up. It suits preschool builders developing motor and cognitive skills as well as older kids and adults who enjoy designing and displaying handcrafted structures.
