Manna Pro Ultimate Chicken Scratch Multigrain Treat — 4.54 kg Bag, Non-GMO Energy-Rich Foraging Mix

Manna Pro Ultimate Chicken Scratch Multigrain Treat is a 10 lb bag of simple, non-GMO scratch grains designed to encourage natural foraging and provide an energy-rich supplement to your flock’s diet.

Made from a straightforward blend of corn, milo, and wheat, this scratch mix is crafted to support chickens, ducks, and other backyard poultry when fed as a treat or supplement to a complete feed. The mix promotes pecking and exploration, so birds stay active and mentally engaged while getting a boost of calories—useful for training, enrichment, or extra energy in cool weather.

How should I feed Manna Pro scratch to my flock?

Scatter the grains on the ground or in a shallow feeder so birds can peck and forage naturally. Offer scratch as a treat separate from complete feed—limit amounts to avoid displacing balanced nutrition from layer or grower rations.

• Feed sparingly: generally a small handful per bird per day as a treat.
• Scatter on clean ground or a flat tray to encourage foraging.
• Use as a training reward or enrichment activity during the day.

What ingredients are in this multigrain scratch and why they matter?

The formula centers on corn, milo (sorghum), and wheat—simple grains chosen for energy, variety, and palatability. These ingredients provide quick-burning calories and texture that stimulates pecking behavior without artificial colors or flavors.

• Corn: energy-dense and highly palatable to poultry.
• Milo (sorghum): adds variety and natural texture to the mix.
• Wheat: contributes fiber and helps diversify grain profile.
• Non-GMO U.S. ingredients: sourced for consistent quality.

Will this scratch replace my flock’s regular feed?

No—scratch is formulated as a supplemental treat rather than a complete feed. It provides extra calories and encourages natural behaviors but should not replace a balanced layer, starter, or grower feed that supplies essential vitamins, minerals, and protein.

• Use alongside complete feed to maintain balanced nutrition.
• Limit treat quantities to prevent nutrient dilution.
• Provide fresh water and full feed options daily.

How does scratch help with flock enrichment and behavior?

Scattering grains encourages scratching and pecking, which are instinctive activities for poultry. Regular enrichment reduces boredom, lowers stress, and can improve overall flock activity and wellbeing when used appropriately.

• Encourages natural foraging and scratching behaviors.
• Helps reduce idle time and associated negative behaviors.
• Works well as a distraction during introductions or coop cleaning.

Who is this for: Manna Pro Ultimate Chicken Scratch Multigrain Treat is suited to backyard chicken keepers, small-scale poultry growers, and hobby farms that want a straightforward, non-GMO treat to supplement a balanced feed program. It’s ideal for owners who value simple ingredient lists, enrichment activities, and an affordable way to reward and energize their flock without artificial additives.
