Melnor MiniMax Turbo Oscillating Sprinkler — 372 m² Coverage, 360° Zoom & Dirt-Resistant Drive

The Melnor MiniMax Turbo Oscillating Sprinkler delivers full-size coverage in a compact unit, adjustable to water up to 4,000 sq. ft. with precision controls and a dirt-resistant drive.

The MiniMax Turbo packs the performance of a larger oscillating sprinkler into a space-saving sled base. It’s built to water large lawns, garden beds, and newly seeded areas while giving you fine control over width, range, and flow. The 360° rotating head and a unique Zoom feature let you dial in the exact spray footprint, and a Dirt-Resistant Drive keeps the mechanism operating smoothly even with grit in the water.

How much area will this sprinkler cover?

This unit can cover up to 4,000 square feet when set for maximum range, making it suitable for medium to large yards. Adjustments to width and range let you shrink the coverage for smaller spaces without moving the sprinkler.

• Maximum coverage: up to 4,000 sq. ft.
• Zoom control to expand or narrow overall watering area
• 360° head rotation for targeted quadrant watering

How do the adjustment controls help reduce water waste?

Independent width, range, and flow controls let you tailor the spray pattern to match lawn shape and plant locations, so you don’t water sidewalks or driveways. The flow control also lets you slow the spray for light watering or increase it for deeper coverage.

• Width control narrows the spray from full to a slim band
• Range control sets how far the spray reaches
• Flow control adjusts water output to conserve water or boost coverage

What makes the drive mechanism reliable for different water sources?

The Dirt-Resistant Drive is engineered to bypass grit and keep the gears moving, so the sprinkler continues operating when using well water or older hose setups. This design reduces clogs and extends the functional life of the unit compared with standard gear drives.

• Drive bypasses particulates to maintain motion
• Reduced gear wear when water contains sediment
• Stable operation season after season with routine maintenance

Can this sprinkler connect to other watering tools?

Yes — the Flo-Thru base allows you to link multiple sprinklers for broader coverage and to maintain water supply through the unit. The included QuickConnect Starter Set lets you swap hoses, nozzles, and wands quickly, even while water is running.

• Flo-Thru base supports chaining sprinklers together
• QuickConnect Starter Set for fast tool changes
• Product adapters (sold separately) let you attach different nozzles and wands

Who is this for? The Melnor MiniMax Turbo is a good fit for homeowners who want the power of a full-sized oscillating sprinkler without the footprint. It’s ideal for those with medium to large lawns, vegetable or flower beds that need tailored coverage, or properties using well water where grit can be an issue. If you want adjustable, efficient watering that’s simple to reposition and expand with additional units, this compact, feature-rich sprinkler is built to deliver.
