Omie OmieBox UP insulated kids bento box, Cosmic Blue — 355 ml thermal jar & removable ice pack

Omie OmieBox UP Cosmic Blue is a kid-ready insulated bento box that packs hot meals and chilled sides together safely in one compact container.

Designed as the grown-up version of the popular OmieBox, the OmieBox UP adds a larger thermal food jar and a removable ice pack so older kids can carry a hot main and cold sides without separate containers. Built from 18/8 304 stainless steel and engineered for everyday school use, this Cosmic Blue bento balances durability, temperature control and easy cleaning for busy families.

How does the OmieBox UP keep hot food warm and cold items chilled at the same time?

The OmieBox UP combines an insulated thermal food jar and a removable ice pack to maintain different temperatures in one unit. The thermal jar holds heat for several hours while the ice pack isolates and cools the compartment for salads, fruit or snacks.

• 12-ounce vacuum-insulated food jar—about 40% larger capacity than the original OmieBox.
• Thermal jar holds warmth for up to around 4 hours under normal conditions.
• Separate removable ice pack sits between compartments to preserve cold foods.
• Single compact lid secures both hot and cold sections for transport.

What materials and safety features make this a long-lasting lunchbox?

OmieBox UP is constructed from food-grade 18/8 (304) stainless steel and manufactured without BPA or phthalates. Seals are removable for thorough washing, and replacement parts can be purchased to extend product life.

• Durable 18/8 stainless steel body resists dents and odors.
• BPA-free and phthalate-free components for food safety.
• Removable rubber seals allow deep cleaning and easy replacement.
• Dishwasher-safe parts help maintain hygiene with minimal effort.

How easy is it for kids to use and parents to clean?

The OmieBox UP is designed for independence: older children can open the latch, remove the thermal jar, and repack food with minimal help. For parents, the dishwasher-safe design and separable seals simplify daily cleanup.

• Simple latch mechanism children aged 9+ can manage on their own.
• Removable inner parts allow quick rinsing or dishwasher cycles.
• Replacement seals sold separately to avoid full product disposal.
• Compact design fits most backpacks and lunch bags for school use.

What practical meal combinations can you pack in the OmieBox UP?

The larger thermal jar accommodates soups, pasta, or stews while the chilled compartment stores salads, fruits, or yogurt—so you can send a balanced lunch without juggling multiple containers. The removable ice pack makes it possible to safely include fresh produce alongside hot mains.

• Hot soup or mac-and-cheese in the 12-ounce thermal jar.
• Fresh fruit, raw veggies, or dairy in the chilled compartment kept cold by the ice pack.
• One-piece packing reduces spills and saves space in a backpack.
• Great for mixed-temperature meals on school days or outings.

Who is this for? The Omie OmieBox UP in Cosmic Blue is aimed at school-age children (recommended 9+ years) who are ready to pack more varied lunches and families who want a single, durable solution for mixed-temperature meals. It suits parents seeking long-lasting, easy-to-clean materials and older kids who want a stylish, functional lunchbox that keeps hot and cold foods separated and fresh during the day.
