Open Farm Ancient Grains Dry Dog Food — Grass-Fed Beef, 9.98 kg Bag, Digestible Grain Formula

This 22 lb bag pairs grass-fed beef with ancient grains like oats and quinoa plus non-GMO fruits, vegetables, and superfood additions to deliver a protein-forward, balanced meal. The recipe emphasizes ingredient transparency and third-party sourcing so you can trace each component back to its origin. It’s intended for dogs with moderate activity levels, seniors, or pets with sensitivities to legumes or potatoes who benefit from easily digestible grains.

How does this recipe support digestion and sensitive stomachs?

The formula uses unrefined ancient grains such as oats and quinoa, which provide soluble fiber and digestible carbohydrates that are often gentler on the gut than legumes or potato-based starches. Combined with pumpkin and coconut oil, the kibble delivers prebiotic fibers and healthy fats to support regularity and nutrient absorption.

• Unrefined ancient grains for gentle carbohydrates
• Pumpkin for fiber and digestive support
• Coconut oil for medium-chain fats that aid absorption
• No peas, potatoes, or legumes—reducing common irritants

What kind of protein and nutrients are in the kibble?

Real grass-fed beef is the primary animal protein, supplying essential amino acids for muscle maintenance and energy. The recipe is complemented by non-GMO fruits and vegetables plus micronutrient-rich superfoods to round out vitamins and minerals without artificial additives.

• Grass-fed beef as the primary protein source
• Ancient grains, fruits, and veggies for fiber and micronutrients
• Added vitamins and minerals for a complete, balanced diet
• Free from artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives

How is ingredient transparency handled and why does it matter?

Open Farm performs third-party certification and documents each ingredient’s geographic origin, so you can verify provenance and ethical sourcing. Traceability reduces uncertainty about supply chains and helps you choose a product aligned with sustainability and quality preferences.

• Third-party certified ingredients and testing
• Full traceability from farm to bag documented by origin
• Non-GMO fruits and vegetables only
• No artificial additives or fillers

How should I feed this 22 lb bag and what size dogs is it best for?

Feeding amounts depend on your dog’s weight, age, and activity; follow the feeding guide on the bag and adjust for body condition. Because the formula contains digestible grains and a higher protein level, it suits moderate-activity adult dogs, less active pets, and seniors who benefit from steady, nutrient-dense meals.

• Use the bag’s feeding chart to start and tailor portions
• Monitor weight and adjust for activity level weekly
• Consider gradual transitions when switching foods over 7–10 days
• 22 lb bag provides multiple servings for medium to large dogs

Who is this for? Open Farm Ancient Grains Grass-Fed Beef Dry Dog Food is designed for owners who want a traceable, non-GMO, grain-inclusive kibble with real animal protein and gentle carbohydrates. It’s a practical choice for dogs with sensitivities to legumes or potatoes, seniors, and pet parents prioritizing ingredient provenance, third-party certification, and a balanced nutrient profile without artificial additives.
