ORIJEN Amazing Grains WholePrey Dry Dog Food Original Recipe 10.2 kg — High-Protein, Omega-Rich

ORIJEN Amazing Grains WholePrey Original is a high-protein dry dog food made with predominantly animal ingredients, whole fish oils for skin and coat support, and a balanced blend of grains and prebiotics for digestion.

This Original Recipe from ORIJEN combines fresh and raw animal proteins with a thoughtful mix of whole grains to deliver complete nutrition for adult dogs. Formulated to mirror the variety found in natural prey, the kibble uses WholePrey inclusions—muscle, organs and cartilage—plus freeze-dried coating for intense flavor. With DHA and EPA from herring, salmon and pollock oils, and both soluble and insoluble fibers from ingredients like inulin, this formula targets digestive balance, immune resilience and healthy skin and coat.

What makes the protein profile unique in this ORIJEN formula?

The recipe lists fresh or raw chicken, turkey, chicken liver, whole herring and salmon among the first five ingredients, providing a broad spectrum of amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Around 90% of the recipe is derived from animal sources in their unprocessed state, reflecting the WholePrey approach.

• Five primary animal ingredients supply concentrated protein and micronutrients
• WholePrey composition includes organs and cartilage for natural nutrient variety
• Freeze-dried pieces add raw-flavor appeal without artificial additives

How does this food support digestive health?

Digestive support is provided by a balanced blend of soluble and insoluble fibers, including whole oat groats, quinoa, chia and inulin. Prebiotics and probiotics are included to help maintain a healthy gut microbiome, which supports nutrient absorption and stool quality.

• Prebiotics and probiotics help stabilize beneficial gut bacteria
• Whole grains supply both soluble and insoluble fiber for transit and fermentation
• Fiber sources selected to promote consistent digestion and stool firmness

Will this recipe help with skin and coat condition?

Yes—the formula includes DHA and EPA from whole herring, salmon and pollock oils, which are omega-rich fish oils known to support skin barrier function and coat sheen. Combined with high-quality proteins and essential nutrients, the diet contributes to overall skin and coat health.

• Whole fish oils supply DHA and EPA for skin and coat support
• High-biological-value animal proteins provide building blocks for healthy skin
• Vitamins and minerals from fresh ingredients support overall dermal health

How is this food prepared and packaged to preserve freshness?

ORIJEN sources fresh ingredients that are delivered refrigerated and raw components delivered frozen to maintain nutrient integrity. The kibble also includes freeze-dried bits to lock in flavor while keeping the product shelf-stable in a 22.5 lb bag.

• Fresh ingredients arrive refrigerated; raw ingredients arrive frozen
