How does this food support my kitten’s growth and muscle development?

ORIJEN WholePrey Kitten emphasizes animal-based protein as the primary nutrient source, supplying the amino acids kittens need for lean muscle and steady growth. The recipe includes whole muscle meats, organs and bones to provide natural vitamins and minerals that support tissue development.

• Approximately 90% animal-sourced ingredients for high, biologically relevant protein
• First five ingredients are fresh or raw poultry and fish: chicken, turkey, salmon, herring and chicken liver
• Includes organs and bone to supply calcium, phosphorus and trace minerals
• Kibble formulated to match kitten mouth size for comfortable eating

Will this recipe help my kitten’s digestion and overall immunity?

The WholePrey approach supplies nutrients from whole animal parts that are naturally rich in digestive-supporting elements and immune-friendly compounds. Grain-free formulation reduces exposure to grain ingredients, while diverse animal proteins and ingredients support gut health and immune resilience.

• WholePrey ingredients include organs and cartilage that supply natural digestive cofactors
• Fresh and raw components deliver bioavailable nutrients that support immune function
• High-protein, moderate-fat balance supports steady digestion and healthy energy

What kinds of fats and omega nutrients are included for skin, coat, and brain development?

ORIJEN uses responsibly sourced oils and whole fish to deliver omega-3s (EPA and DHA) plus other essential fatty acids that benefit skin, coat, cognitive development and eye health in growing kittens. These fats are naturally present in included fish and supplemented by pollock oil for consistency.

• Wild-caught salmon and whole herring provide native omega-3 fatty acids
• Responsibly farmed pollock oil adds consistent EPA and DHA levels
• Balanced fats support healthy skin, glossy coat and cognitive growth

How is flavor and palatability ensured for selective eaters?

ORIJEN enhances taste with a freeze-dried liver coating and a high proportion of fresh and raw animal ingredients, creating a rich, meaty aroma and texture kittens naturally prefer. The concentrated animal content makes each bite nutrient-dense and savory.

• Freeze-dried chicken liver coating for immediate flavor appeal
• High ratio of fresh and raw ingredients intensifies natural meatiness
• Kibble size customized for kittens to improve acceptance and chewing

ORIJEN WholePrey Kitten is best suited for breeders, new kitten owners and households seeking a biologically appropriate, high-protein dry food that prioritizes fresh and raw animal ingredients.
