Pukomc Smart Sensor Wastebasket – 9.84 L Touchless Bin, Compact ABS Motion Bin for Bathroom & Kitchen

The Pukomc Smart Sensor Wastebasket is a compact, hands-free 2.6‑gallon motion trash can that opens automatically for hygienic, touchless disposal.

If you want a small, modern waste container that keeps smells and contact to a minimum, the Pukomc Smart Sensor Wastebasket offers infrared sensing, a snug lid, and a minimalist Nordic look sized for bathrooms, kitchens, RVs and laundry rooms. Built from durable ABS and designed to be easy to maintain, this sensor bin balances convenience and style in a footprint that fits tight spaces.

How does the sensor open and close?

The built‑in infrared motion sensor detects hand movement and raises the lid automatically while you’re nearby. After roughly five seconds of no motion, the lid closes on its own so waste remains covered.

• Infrared sensor triggers lid when hands are within range.
• Automatic close after about 5 seconds of inactivity.
• Sensor keeps lid open while movement remains in front of it.
• Operates on two AA batteries (batteries not included) for cordless placement.

What size and materials should I expect?

The Pukomc bin measures approximately 8" long × 8" wide × 16.3" high and holds 2.6 gallons—large enough for small household waste without taking up floor space. It’s constructed from sturdy ABS plastic to resist stains and cleaning wear.

• Compact 2.6‑gallon capacity fits under sinks or beside counters.
• ABS construction for easy wiping and durability.
• Simple shape and neutral finish suit modern interiors and bathrooms.
• Lightweight design makes relocation effortless for cleaning or refilling bags.

Where does this trash can work best?

This sensor wastebasket is intended for small, everyday refuse in places where touchless operation improves hygiene—kitchens, bathrooms, RVs, home offices and laundry rooms. It’s ideal for collecting paper, peelings, coffee grounds and small food scraps.

• Kitchen use: hands‑free opening during prep and cleanup.
• Bathroom use: minimizes contact and keeps lids closed to contain odors.
• RV or dorm use: compact size fits limited spaces.
• Works well with reusable grocery or small kitchen liners for neat removal.

How do I set it up and maintain it?

Setup is straightforward: insert two AA batteries, place a liner inside, and follow the quick steps to attach the bag securely. Wipe the exterior and interior with a damp cloth; avoid submerging the unit or exposing the sensor to direct water spray.

• Requires 2 AA batteries (not included) for sensor operation.
• Securely fasten the garbage bag per included instructions to prevent slipping.
• Clean with a soft cloth; do not open the sensor housing or use harsh chemicals.
• Contact customer support if the sensor does not respond or lid movement is irregular.
