PUR Tap Mount Replacement Filters 2-Pack — Blue PUR PLUS 3-in-1, Lead & PFAS Reduction, 6-Month Supply

PUR PLUS Faucet Mount Replacement Filters (2-pack) are genuine PUR 3-in-1 cartridges that reduce lead, PFAS, chlorine, microplastics and other contaminants to deliver cleaner, better-tasting tap water for up to 100 gallons or about three months per filter.

If you use a faucet-mounted PUR or Beautiful by PUR system, these replacement cartridges restore peak filtration performance with an advanced 14-layer design and significantly increased surface area. Each cartridge swaps in quickly with a pull-tab installation, giving you on-demand filtered water straight from the kitchen tap for drinking and cooking without plumbing changes or pitchers to fill.

How do these filters improve taste and odor in my tap water?

PUR PLUS filters combine mechanical filtration and selective adsorption to capture particles and reduce chlorine and other compounds that affect flavor and smell. The mineral core also helps recreate a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel without adding artificial flavors.

• 14-layer media and 5x more surface area for finer particle capture
• Reduces chlorine and volatile compounds that cause bad tastes and odors
• Mineral core enhances natural taste profile for drinking and cooking

Which contaminants do these PUR filters target and are they certified?

These genuine PUR cartridges are tested to reduce a broad range of chemical and physical substances commonly found in municipal and well water. PUR is the only faucet brand certified by IAPMO to reduce 70 specific contaminants, including lead, certain PFAS, VOCs, mercury and microplastics.

• Certified reductions include lead, total PFAS, VOCs, mercury, chlorine and microplastics
• Not designed to remove microbes; follow local water advisories for biological issues
• Compatible certification details available from PUR for specifics and test reports

How long do the filters last and how easy is replacement?

Each PUR PLUS faucet cartridge is engineered for up to 100 gallons of filtered water or approximately three months of typical household use. Replacement is tool-free: the cartridge installs with a simple pull-tab mechanism so you can swap filters in seconds without shutting off water or calling a plumber.

• Up to 100 gallons per filter or about 3 months under normal use
• Quick pull-tab installation works with PUR and Beautiful by PUR faucet systems
• Two-filter pack delivers a six-month supply for a single faucet or shared use across faucets

Are these genuine PUR filters better than off-brand replacements?

Genuine PUR filters are made and tested to meet the original system specifications; off-brand cartridges might fit but are not certified to match PUR’s performance. Using authentic PUR replacements helps maintain the system’s tested contaminant reductions and ensures consistent flow and longevity.

• Official PUR cartridges keep filtration performance within certified parameters
• Off-brand parts can compromise reduction rates and warranty coverage
• Buying genuine filters helps ensure predictable taste, flow and lifespan
