RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer Programmable Water Timer — 1-Outlet Digital Tap Timer with Rain Delay & Manual Mode

RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer is a single-outlet programmable water timer that automates outdoor hose irrigation with custom schedules, rain delay, and manual override.

Take the guesswork out of watering your lawn, garden, or container plants with this compact digital faucet timer. The RAINPOINT unit attaches to a standard outdoor spigot and controls one hose or soaker line, letting you set precise start times, durations from one minute up to 3 hours 59 minutes, and repeat frequencies ranging from hourly intervals to every several days. A large LCD and intuitive buttons make programming straightforward, while rain delay and manual modes give flexible control when weather or special needs change.

How do I set up the RAINPOINT timer and connect it to my hose?

Installation is simple and tool-free: insert two AA batteries, screw the timer onto a standard faucet, then attach your hose to the outlet. The digital display guides you through setting the current time and programming your first watering schedule.

• Mounts directly to standard outdoor spigots, no adapters required for typical faucets.
• Uses 2×AA alkaline batteries (not included); on-screen battery indicator.
• Step-by-step on-screen prompts for initial clock and schedule setup.

What scheduling options does it offer for precise garden watering?

The timer supports flexible start times, durations, and frequencies to match different plant needs and watering systems. You can pick short to long run times and repeat cycles from hourly to multi-day intervals so irrigation fits your landscape’s requirements.

• Start times: set multiple daily start times to suit watering windows.
• Duration: adjustable from 1 minute to 3 hours 59 minutes for each session.
• Frequency: options from every 1 hour up to every 12 hours, or 1–7 days.

How does the rain delay and manual mode protect my plants and schedule?

Rain delay pauses programmed watering for a chosen span (24, 48, or 72 hours) to prevent overwatering after rainfall. Manual mode lets you run irrigation immediately for a set period without changing stored programs—handy for spot watering or when transplanting.

• Rain delay: suspend all scheduled cycles for 24/48/72 hours automatically.
• Manual watering: start immediate watering for 1 minute up to 8 hours as needed.
• Programs resume automatically after rain delay, preserving your schedule.

Will the display and controls remain readable and easy to use outdoors?

The RAINPOINT timer features a large, clear LCD that shows watering time, frequency, and battery status for at-a-glance monitoring. Buttons are grouped logically for straightforward adjustments, and the screen icons indicate active modes and remaining power.

• Large LCD shows program details, active modes, and power level clearly.
• Simple push-button controls for fast changes in the field.
• On-screen icons to confirm rain delay, manual mode, and scheduled runs.

Who is this for? The RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer is ideal for homeowners, balcony gardeners, and small-scale landscapers who need a reliable single-outlet irrigation controller. If you run a soaker hose, drip line, or single sprinkler and want to conserve water while keeping plants healthy, this timer offers a straightforward, low-cost way to automate watering without a complex multi-zone system.
