Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus outdoor security camera, Black — 1080p HD & dual floodlights

The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is an outdoor security camera with motion-activated LED floodlights, 1080p HD video, two-way talk and a powerful siren for wired, always-on protection.

Designed for homes and small businesses, this wired floodlight camera combines continuous power with connected features: live 1080p streaming, customizable motion zones, color night vision and smartphone alerts via the Ring app. It pairs bright dual LED floodlights with a 105 dB siren and two-way audio so you can see, hear and speak to people outside your property in real time. Hardwired installation ensures steady power and reliable operation without replacing batteries.

How clear is the video from the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus?

The Floodlight Cam records and streams in 1080p HD to deliver detailed live view and recorded footage. Color Night Vision and dual LED floodlights help preserve useful image detail after dark without relying on infrared alone.

• 1080p resolution for crisp daytime and nighttime imagery
• Color Night Vision illuminated by the floodlights
• Live View and recorded clips accessible in the Ring app

How does motion detection and alerts work?

Customizable motion zones let you select the exact areas to monitor, reducing false alarms from irrelevant activity. When motion is detected, the device sends push notifications to the Ring app and can trigger the floodlights and siren automatically.

• Set multiple motion zones through the Ring app to focus monitoring
• Real-time push alerts to phone, tablet or PC
• Optional siren and light activation on motion events

What audio and deterrent features does it include?

Two-way talk enables audio communication through the camera so you can speak to visitors or intruders from your phone. In addition, a built-in 105 dB siren and bright floodlights provide loud and visible deterrence when needed.

• Two-way talk with noise cancellation for clear communication
• 105 dB siren to deter unwanted activity
• Dual floodlights to eliminate dark spots and improve visibility

Do I need a subscription to save and review footage?

The camera functions and live view are available without a subscription, but a Ring Protect plan lets you save recorded videos up to 180 days for later review and receipts of event history. Subscription features also include people and package alerts in some regions.

• Live View and instant alerts work without a subscription
• Ring Protect subscription stores videos for up to 180 days
• Advanced alerts and event history available with Protect plans

Who is this for? The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is suited for homeowners and small business owners who want continuous, hardwired outdoor coverage with bright lighting and active deterrence. It’s a good fit when you need high-quality video, adjustable motion detection and integrated siren and lighting rather than a battery-powered option. Install it where you need constant power—over entryways, driveways or business storefronts—to keep exterior areas well-lit, monitored and connected to your phone.
