Scotts Liquid Lawn Food Plus Weed Control, 946 ml — Hose-Activated 2-in-1 Fertiliser & Weed Spray

Scotts Turf Builder Liquid Lawn Food Plus Weed Control is a hose-activated, 2-in-1 liquid that feeds grass and controls common lawn weeds across up to 2,000 sq. ft. in about 10 minutes.

This ready-to-use lawn treatment combines a concentrated fertilizer with a contact weed-control ingredient so you can feed turf and treat dandelions, clover and other listed weeds in a single quick application. The bottle snaps onto a garden hose with a reusable sprayer applicator, and the translucent container helps you monitor flow and remaining product. The formula is labeled for many common turfgrass types and acts when weeds are actively growing, simplifying seasonal lawn maintenance for homeowners who want faster results without mixing granular products or separate herbicides.

How does this product simplify a routine lawn-care session?

Instead of two separate steps—spreading fertilizer and then treating weeds—you complete both jobs in one pass with a hose-attached sprayer. The applicator sprays evenly and the translucent bottle removes guesswork about usage and remaining liquid.

• Connects to a standard garden hose for easy, even coverage
• 32 fl. oz. treats roughly 2,000 sq. ft., saving time
• Translucent bottle shows the liquid level while you spray
• Reusable sprayer works with refill bottles to reduce waste

Which weeds and turf types are effectively addressed?

The product targets common broadleaf weeds such as dandelions and clover that are listed on the label and proven responsive to contact weed control while simultaneously delivering nutrients to many lawn species. Check the label for specific weed and grass listings before applying.

• Controls common broadleaf weeds actively growing at application
• Labeled for bluegrass, fescue, ryegrass, bermuda, zoysia, centipede and bahiagrass
• Feeds turf to encourage denser growth that helps crowd out weeds over time

What should I expect during and after application?

Spray coverage is fast and visible: the formula makes contact with weeds and deposits nutrients on grass blades. You’ll see weed control activity begin shortly after application on actively growing weeds; improved turf color and thickness follow with regular care.

• Apply when weeds are actively growing for best response
• Visible weed effects occur after contact; follow label timing for any repeat applications
• Feeding supports greener, thicker turf as part of a seasonal maintenance plan

Is the reusable applicator practical and environmentally considerate?

The included sprayer is designed for repeat use with refill bottles sold separately, helping reduce single-use plastic waste and lowering the number of full bottles you need over multiple seasons.

• Reusable hose-on applicator reduces disposable bottle use
• Refill system streamlines future purchases and storage
• Translucent design reduces overapplication and product waste

Who is this for: This product is aimed at homeowners, DIY lawn enthusiasts, and small-property managers who want a quick, straightforward way to both fertilize turf and control broadleaf weeds without mixing granular products or juggling separate herbicides. It suits people with common cool- and warm-season grasses who need fast, even coverage over lawns up to around 2,000 square feet and who value a reusable applicator to reduce plastic waste. Always read and follow the label directions and restrictions for your turf and local regulations before use.
