SHINESTAR Griddle Cover for Blackstone 28-inch Griddles with Hood — Waterproof, Windproof

SHINESTAR 5483 28 inch Griddle Cover is a heavy-duty, weatherproof protective cover sized to fit Blackstone 28" griddles with hoods, designed to lock down in wind, shed water, and resist UV damage.

If you own a Blackstone 28" flat top with a hood and you keep it outdoors, this cover is built to extend the life of your griddle. The SHINESTAR 5483 combines a triple-layer waterproof coating, UV inhibitors, reinforced seams, and secure fastenings so the cover stays put and keeps moisture, sun, and debris away from cooking surfaces and metal parts.

How does this cover protect my griddle from rain and moisture?

The cover uses a polyurethane triple-layer finish that repels water instead of absorbing it, so rain and dew bead and roll off the surface. That reduces the chance of rust or corrosion forming on the cast iron or steel parts of your griddle.

• Triple-layer polyurethane coating for watertight performance
• Water beads on surface; no soaking through
• Easy wipe-clean exterior removes grease and dirt

Will the cover stay in place during windy weather?

Yes — the SHINESTAR 5483 is engineered to remain secure even when gusts pick up. It pairs a drawstring hem with Velcro straps so the cover cinches snugly and fastens to the griddle base.

• Adjustable drawstring hem for a tight fit around the base
• Velcro straps prevent the cover from lifting or flipping
• Designed for 2–3 burner Blackstone 28" models with hoods

How does this cover handle sun exposure and heavy use?

The outer layer includes UV inhibitors that slow fading, cracking, and material breakdown from sunlight. Reinforced, double-stitched seams and dense fabric keep the cover durable under frequent on/off use and regular outdoor exposure.

• UV-resistant coating to protect color and strength
• Double-stitched seams for long-lasting durability
• High-density fabric resists fraying and deformation

Is maintenance difficult — how do I clean it?

Cleaning is fast and straightforward thanks to the smooth exterior finish. Most spills, grease splatter, and pollen wipe away with a damp cloth; no machine washing required.

• Smooth surface for quick wipe-clean maintenance
• No soaking or machine washing needed
• Low-maintenance choice for frequent grillers and entertainers
