SKYBASIC Wireless Digital Microscope is a portable WiFi and USB handheld camera that captures 50×–1000× magnified 1080p images and video for phones, tablets, and computers.

If you want a compact, easy-to-use digital microscope for hobby exploration, classroom demonstrations, or close-up inspections, this SKYBASIC model brings high magnification, adjustable LED lighting, and dual wireless/USB connectivity. It pairs with iPhone, Android, iPad, Windows, and Mac devices so you can stream live views, snap photos, and record video without bulky lab equipment. The unit is aimed at learners and makers rather than professional lab work, offering a wide focal range and simple controls for on-the-go observation.

How do I connect the microscope to my phone or tablet?

Connecting is done either over the microscope’s own WiFi hotspot or by using a USB cable for computers. For mobile devices, install the recommended app, power the microscope, join its WiFi network, then launch the app to view and capture images.

• Download the Max-see app from the App Store or Google Play.
• Long-press the power button to start the microscope’s WiFi signal (no password).
• Join the microscope’s WiFi on your device, then open the app to stream live view.
• Use the app buttons or the device shutter to take photos and record video.

What image quality and lighting can I expect?

The camera uses a 2MP sensor to deliver 1080p images to smartphones and 720p when used with a PC, supported by eight adjustable LEDs for even illumination. You can adjust brightness to reveal surface details without glare.

• 2MP CMOS sensor providing crisp close-ups at supported resolutions.
• Eight LED lights with variable brightness to control contrast and shadowing.
• Optimal focus distance between 3–60 mm for sharp images.
• One-button capture on the device or app-triggered recording for convenience.

Can I use the microscope with Windows or Mac computers?

Yes—plug the microscope into a computer using the supplied USB cable and open compatible software to view and record. Some systems require simple setup steps, such as disabling the built-in webcam or installing recommended capture software for older Windows versions.

• Windows 7/8 users can use AMCap; Windows 10 often recognizes it as a camera device.
• Mac users can open Photo Booth or QuickTime Player to access the camera feed.
• Disable internal webcams or adjust privacy settings if the microscope feed doesn’t appear.
• Visit the manufacturer’s site for the latest app and troubleshooting guidance.

How portable and durable is the SKYBASIC microscope?

The unit is lightweight and compact so you can carry it for field trips, hobby projects, or quick inspections. It includes a small stand and base for steady shots, while the fixed-focus design keeps setup fast for casual use.

• Compact handheld body fits easily into backpacks or tool kits.
• Includes a bracket and base for stable positioning and consistent imaging.
• Best for outdoor exploration, educational activities, and general inspection—not for clinical lab use.
• Simple one-button controls make it accessible to beginners and children.
