Teacher Created Resources Boxwood Bulletin Board Roll 1.2 m x 3.7 m — Tear-Resistant, Wipe-Clean Reusable Backdrop

Teacher Created Resources' Boxwood Better Than Paper Bulletin Board Roll is a 4' x 12' non-woven fabric backdrop that hangs easily, wipes clean, and resists tearing for reusable classroom displays.

This roll replaces fragile bulletin board paper with a lightweight, fabric-like material designed to make decorating faster and longer lasting. It smooths flat without wrinkling, accepts staples and tape without obvious damage, and wipes clean so displays stay fresh. The natural boxwood color gives borders, posters, and student work a subtle, textured green backdrop that complements many classroom themes.

How does this roll save time when setting up bulletin boards?

Because the material is tear-resistant and lies flat, you spend less time smoothing wrinkles or reapplying sections. Hanging is straightforward—cut to size, attach, and decorate—so you can finish boards in minutes instead of wrestling with paper.

• Pre-measured 4' x 12' roll covers large boards in one piece.
• Lightweight fabric-like sheet reduces handling and repositioning.
• Easy to cut with scissors for custom dimensions.
• Accepts staples and tape without ripping or showing obvious holes.

Can I write on this surface and clean it without damage?

The surface is designed for write-on/wipe-off use, so you can add temporary notes, labels, or accents and remove them without degrading the material. Routine cleaning is simple—wipe with a damp cloth or spray disinfectant—keeping displays sanitary and vibrant.

• Compatible with dry-erase markers for short-term notes.
• Wipes clean of smudges and marker residue with a damp cloth.
• Holds up to light cleaning sprays for classroom sanitation.
• Maintains color and texture after repeated cleanings.

Will staples, tape, and student work stay in place without ruining the backdrop?

Yes—this non-woven material resists tearing from staples and tape, so you can attach borders, photos, and student projects confidently. When items are removed, holes are much less noticeable than with standard paper, preserving the roll for future use.

• Staples sink in without causing large tears or rips.
• Tape adheres securely yet removes cleanly in most cases.
• Ideal for layering posters, trim, and student artwork.
• Reusable for seasonal themes or rotating displays.

How easy is it to customize size and appearance for different classroom needs?

The roll cuts smoothly with scissors, letting you tailor panels, borders, and shapes to fit bulletin boards, door displays, or centers. Its neutral boxwood color pairs well with many themes and accents, and can be trimmed or layered for high-impact visuals.

• Cut to any length or width with standard scissors.
• Pairs with Teacher Created Resources borders and accents.
• Use as a backdrop for bulletin boards, doors, hall displays, and project stations.
• Layer with patterned paper or fabric for textured effects.
