TidyMister 17.5" Ultra-Fine Mesh Pool Skimmer Net Rake — Extra-Fine Nylon, Aluminium Frame for Sand Pollen Silt

TidyMister's 17.5" Ultra Fine Mesh Pool Skimmer Net Rake is a heavy-duty, extra-fine nylon net designed to remove sand, silt, pollen and tiny debris from above-ground and in-ground pools.

Keeping pool water clear often comes down to catching the smallest particles before they settle. The TidyMister 17.5" ultra-fine mesh skimmer combines a reinforced aluminum frame, extended circular front lip, and super-fine nylon weave so you can sweep up micro-debris quickly while draining water fast. Designed to attach to a standard 1-1/4" pole with an EZ clip, this skimmer is built for routine cleaning, winter prep, and seasonal leaf control without straining the handle.

How does the ultra-fine mesh improve everyday pool cleaning?

The extra-fine nylon mesh traps particles that ordinary nets miss, such as pollen, sand and silt, keeping water clearer and reducing strain on filters. Its tight weave prevents tiny debris from slipping through while allowing excess water to drain quickly so you can empty the net more easily.

• Captures micro-debris like pollen and fine sand
• Drains water fast to reduce weight when lifting
• Minimizes recontamination when scooping surface pollutants

Why does the frame shape and material matter for scooping bottom debris?

The upgraded front lip is reshaped to a circular arc, creating better contact with pool floors and corners so you can pull up settled material more efficiently. The aluminum alloy frame gives the head structural strength to hold heavier loads—up to about 17 pounds—without bending or flexing during repeated use.

• Extended arc lip improves bottom skimming performance
• Lightweight aluminum resists corrosion and stays rigid
• Support for up to 17 lbs of debris for larger cleanups

How easy is it to attach and handle during cleaning sessions?

The skimmer head includes a built-in EZ clip that fits the standard 1-1/4" pool pole, making set-up fast and tool-free. Its balanced size (17.5") provides a wide scoop without being cumbersome, so you can maneuver along walls, steps, and around ladders with control.

• Quick-connect EZ clip works with common poles (pole not included)
• 17.5" width for broad coverage and manageable handling
• Sturdy frame keeps the net taut for smooth scoops

What maintenance will keep this skimmer working well season after season?

Rinse the net with fresh water after each heavy use to remove embedded particles and chemicals, and allow it to dry before storage to prevent mildew. Occasionally inspect the frame and clips for corrosion or wear, and tighten the attachment to maintain a secure fit with the pole.

• Rinse and air-dry after use to prolong mesh life
• Check EZ clip and frame for secure connections
• Store indoors or shaded to avoid prolonged sun degradation

Who is this for? This TidyMister ultra-fine mesh skimmer is ideal for pool owners who need extra filtration at the surface and bottom—those with pollen-prone yards, sandy surroundings, or pools that collect fine silt. It's a practical choice for homeowners, property managers, and maintenance crews who prefer an efficient, lightweight tool that captures particles standard nets miss, detaches quickly from common poles, and stands up to regular use.
