TidyMister Pool Skimmer Net — Original Series Fine Self-Repair Nylon Mesh, No Pole (Reinforced Frame)

TidyMister Pool Skimmer Net is a durable, replaceable leaf rake with a self-repairing fine nylon mesh designed to quickly remove leaves and debris from above-ground and in-ground pools.

Designed for pool owners who want a long-lasting, practical skimmer without buying a full pole set, this Original Series net combines a reinforced frame, corrosion-resistant pole attachment, and a finer nylon mesh that resists everyday wear. The mesh can close small abrasions through a simple rubbing technique, extending the net’s service life and reducing waste. The beveled front lip improves scooping efficiency at both the water surface and the pool bottom, while the reinforced frame holds shape during heavy use.

How does the self-repairing mesh extend the net’s useful life?

The net’s high-strength nylon fibers are woven to allow tiny frays and pinholes to fuse back together when gently rubbed, reducing the need for immediate replacement after minor snags. This isn’t a fix for large cuts, but it helps in everyday pool maintenance where small abrasions are common. The material also costs more than standard nets, reflecting its greater durability.

• High-strength nylon mesh resists tearing and fraying.
• Minor holes can be closed by rubbing the damaged area.
• Not suitable for sharp cuts or large punctures.
• Mesh density captures fine debris without blocking water flow.

Will this skimmer fit my existing pool pole?

The attachment is engineered to match the common 1-1/4" standard pole diameter, so it connects easily to most aftermarket and universal poles. The connector is finished with a corrosion-resistant coating and a durable plastic spray to prevent rust and looseness over time. Poles are sold separately, giving you flexibility to use a pole you already own or upgrade independently.

• Standard 1-1/4" pole fit for broad compatibility.
• Corrosion-resistant material prevents rusting at the joint.
• Plastic-coated surface reduces wear and improves grip.
• Pole not included; works with most aftermarket poles.

How does the net design improve debris collection and handling?

The hardened frame keeps the net flat and open for efficient scooping, while the beveled front lip glides under surface and bottom debris for easier pickup. The net’s balance between fine mesh and good water flow enables it to collect small leaves, insects, and grit without excessive drag. Reinforced corners and structure reduce sagging so you can scoop multiple loads before emptying.

• Reinforced frame maintains shape during heavy use.
• Beveled lip helps reach both surface and bottom debris.
• Fine mesh traps small particles yet allows water through.
• Durable frame resists bending and increases stability.

How do I care for and maintain this skimmer to prolong performance?

Rinse the net with fresh water after each use to remove chlorine and pool chemicals, and store it out of direct sun when not in use to slow material degradation. If small holes appear, gently rub the area until fibers realign; avoid sewing or patching that could distort the mesh. Inspect the attachment and frame periodically and tighten or replace the pole screw if needed.

• Rinse after use and dry out of direct sunlight.
• Rub minor abrasions to allow the mesh to close up.
• Check pole attachment and tighten as needed.
• Avoid repairing large cuts—replace the net for those.

Who is this for: The TidyMister Pool Skimmer Net suits homeowners, renters, and pool-service pros who want a reliable, economical skimmer head that pairs with standard poles. It’s ideal for those who prefer replacing only the head instead of a full tool, value a finer mesh for cleaner water, and want a product built to resist everyday wear. If you need a complete pole-and-net solution, consider adding a compatible 1-1/4" pole to your order; if you already own a pole, this net provides an easy upgrade for better debris control and longer life.
