Tom's of Maine Naturally Waxed Antiplaque Flat Dental Floss in spearmint is a durable, easy-glide nylon floss designed to remove plaque and food particles while being gentle on gums.

Keep your at-home oral care simple and reliable with this six-pack of 32-yard spools. Tom's of Maine Naturally Waxed Antiplaque Flat Floss uses naturally waxed nylon filaments that resist snapping and fraying, so you can clean between teeth confidently. The spearmint flavor leaves a refreshing finish, while the flat ribbon shape helps the floss conform to tooth surfaces for quicker plaque disruption and food removal. Packaged as a convenient multi-pack, it helps you stock up for daily use or share across the household.

How does this floss help me clean between teeth more effectively?

The flat, naturally waxed nylon filaments slide smoothly between tight contacts and wrap around tooth surfaces to remove debris and plaque buildup. Its resistant construction reduces the chance of shredding, letting you focus on technique rather than replacing broken pieces.

• Flat ribbon profile for broader surface contact
• Waxed finish for effortless gliding
• Durable nylon resists tearing and fraying

Is this gentle enough for sensitive gums?

Yes — the floss is designed to be strong without being abrasive, making it suitable for users concerned about gum irritation. Use a gentle sawing motion and curve the floss into a "C" around each tooth, keeping movements controlled and below the gumline where needed.

• Smooth waxed surface minimizes rubbing
• Flat shape reduces pressure points on soft tissue
• Spearmint flavor provides a fresh after-feel without harsh additives

What makes this floss a natural choice compared to standard flosses?

Tom's of Maine emphasizes naturally derived ingredients and simpler formulas, and this floss contains no artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors. The product is produced by a Certified B Corp committed to social and environmental standards, and the brand donates a portion of profits to community causes.

• Naturally waxed filaments rather than heavy synthetic coatings
• No artificial colors or preservatives listed
• Brand commitment to environmental and social responsibility

How much floss is included and how should I use it properly?

This listing includes six spools, each with 32 yards of floss — enough for many months of daily cleaning for one person or shorter for larger households. For effective cleaning, use about 18 inches of floss, wrap it around your middle fingers, guide it between teeth, curve around the tooth in a "C" shape and move gently below the gumline to disrupt plaque.

• Six packs × 32 yards per spool for bulk convenience
• Recommended 18-inch floss length per use for proper control
• Daily use suggested for routine interdental care

Who is this for: This multi-pack is aimed at individuals and families who want a dependable, naturally minded dental floss that balances strength and gentleness. It's a good fit if you prefer waxed, easy-glide floss in a minty flavor, want to reduce the frequency of repurchasing with a multi-pack, or support brands with clear social and environmental commitments. For anyone seeking straightforward interdental cleaning without extra artificial additives, Tom's of Maine Naturally Waxed Antiplaque Flat Floss offers a practical daily option.
