Twelve South AirFly Pro 2 Bluetooth Adapter — White, Dual-Pairing, Low-Latency 25+ hr Battery

The Twelve South AirFly Pro 2 is a compact Bluetooth 5.3 adapter that turns any 3.5mm audio jack into a dual-pair wireless transmitter or a receiver for phones and speakers.

Small enough to tuck into a carry-on or gym bag, the AirFly Pro 2 gives modern wireless headphones flexible use with legacy audio outputs and fixed systems. Switch between transmit and receive modes to either send sound from an in-flight screen to AirPods or stream music from your phone into a car AUX input. Built for longer journeys and shared listening, it balances connection stability, low latency for video, and extended battery life.

How does AirFly Pro 2 let me use AirPods with non-Bluetooth devices?

Flip the integrated switch to transmitter mode and plug the included 3.5mm cable into any headphone jack. The adapter advertises itself as a Bluetooth source so your AirPods, Beats, Sony headphones, or other wireless earbuds can pair just like they would with a phone.

• Transmits audio from airplane screens, TVs, game consoles, and in-flight entertainment systems.
• Uses Bluetooth 5.3 and aptX HD Adaptive for improved stability and quality.
• Simple pairing buttons for quick connection to one or two headsets.

Can two people listen at the same time?

Yes — AirFly Pro 2 supports simultaneous pairing for two sets of headphones, so two listeners can enjoy the same audio feed without splitting cables or using a Y-adapter. Dedicated pairing controls make adding a second headset straightforward.

• Dual-pairing allows shared movies or music on flights and road trips.
• Each device connects independently, keeping volume and playback responsive.
• Quick-access buttons let you mute or adjust without digging through menus.

Will the sound lag when watching video or playing games?

AirFly Pro 2 is tuned for low-latency performance, minimizing audio delay so picture and sound stay in sync for movies and gaming. While exact delay depends on your headphones and source, aptX HD Adaptive support and Bluetooth 5.3 help reduce latency compared with older adapters.

• Low-latency operation for better lip-sync in video playback.
• High-resolution capable codec support for richer detail when available.
• Works well with a wide range of modern Bluetooth headsets.

How long does the battery last and how portable is it?

Twelve South prioritized endurance by dropping extraneous displays and squeezing more runtime into the compact shell. Expect 25+ hours of continuous use on a single charge, making it suitable for long-haul flights, extended workouts, or multi-day trips.

• 25+ hours battery life—fewer recharges during travel.
• Thin, pocketable footprint that fits in a tech pouch.
• Durable build designed for frequent plugging and unplugging.

Who this is for: Travelers, commuters, and anyone who owns wireless headphones but still encounters devices with only a 3.5mm jack will benefit most from the AirFly Pro 2. It’s especially handy for couples or families who want to share audio without extra cables, gamers who need low latency, and consumers upgrading car or home stereos to Bluetooth without replacing existing hardware.
