Vanpopubs Automatic 10.2 L Bin 2-Pack — Slim Touchless Motion Sensor Bins with Lid (Waterproof, Compact)

The Vanpopubs 2-pack 2.7-gallon automatic trash cans are slim, touchless waste bins with motion sensors and lids designed to keep bathrooms, bedrooms, and small kitchens hygienic and odor-contained.

These compact smart garbage cans combine a rapid infrared motion sensor, a tight-sealing lid, and waterproof construction in a space-saving footprint that fits narrow gaps and countertops. Each unit holds 2.7 gallons and operates on two AA batteries, offering hands-free disposal for households, offices, dorms, and small living spaces. The pair ships together inside one package to reduce material waste.

How fast and responsive is the motion sensor?

The Vanpopubs sensor uses infrared technology with a sub-second response so the lid lifts immediately when it detects movement above the sensor. After about five seconds without detection the lid closes automatically, helping maintain a sealed interior and limiting odors.

• 0.1 second approximate open response for quick access
• Automatic close after roughly 5 seconds of no motion
• Double-tap button to lock lid open (Always Open Mode)
• Visual indicator shows battery status and operation modes

What power does it require and how do I operate it?

Each bin runs on two AA batteries (not included); alkaline batteries are recommended for best runtime. Hold the power button for 1.5 seconds to turn the unit on or off; if the indicator flashes red the batteries are low and should be replaced.

• Requires two AA batteries per trash can (alkaline recommended)
• Press-and-hold 1.5s to power on/off; indicator light denotes battery level
• Double-tap to enable Always Open Mode; double-tap again to revert
• If sensor fails, power cycle to reset the unit

Will this trash can fit in tight bathroom or kitchen spaces?

Yes — the slim 2.7-gallon design is made for narrow locations where a full-size bin would be impractical. The compact footprint and vertical profile let you place the can beside sinks, between cabinets, or in bathroom corners without sacrificing capacity for everyday waste.

• Small 2.7 gal capacity ideal for bathrooms, bedrooms, and offices
• Slim dimensions maximize use of narrow gaps and countertops
• Integrated lid and seal help reduce smells in confined rooms
• Sturdy PP construction keeps shape in cramped placements

How durable and moisture-resistant is the bin for bathroom use?

The body is molded from waterproof polypropylene with an IPX5 splash rating, so it resists water exposure common in bathrooms and near sinks. The sealed lid design further prevents moisture ingress and traps odors, while the smooth surfaces allow quick wipe-down cleaning.

• IPX5 splash-resistant construction suitable for bathroom environments
• Durable PP material resists cracking and staining
• Sealed lid helps isolate odors and moisture from the room
• Simple exterior wipes clean with a damp cloth

Who is this for: The Vanpopubs 2-pack is built for people who want a hygienic, space-efficient trash solution for small rooms — ideal for busy bathrooms, compact kitchens, home offices, dorms, and nurseries. It suits households that prefer touchless convenience, controlled odors, and easy maintenance in tight spaces. If you need a larger capacity or an under-sink placement, consider a bigger model; otherwise these slim smart cans deliver hands-free convenience and moisture-resistant performance where space is limited.
