Veise Keypad Door Lock KS04 Satin Nickel — Zinc-Alloy Handle, ANSI Grade 3 & Backlit Keypad

The Veise KS04 is a satin-nickel, zinc-alloy keypad door lock with a built-in handle that delivers keyless entry, backup key access, and multiple security modes for residential and light-commercial doors.

Designed to replace a standard cylindrical door lock, the KS04 combines a tactile satin nickel handle with a programmable electronic deadbolt. It supports up to 21 permanent user codes, unlimited one-time codes, and features a thumbturn, mechanical keys, and configurable auto-lock and away modes. Weather-resistant construction and ANSI Grade 3 hardware mean it’s suited for exterior or interior use where convenience and durability matter.

How does the keypad simplify daily access?

Enter codes on a backlit keypad instead of fumbling for keys—use short-term codes for guests or unlimited one-time codes for deliveries. The interior thumbturn allows instant manual locking and unlocking when inside.

• 21 user codes (4–10 digits) for family or staff
• Unlimited one-time codes for temporary access
• Interior thumbturn for quick manual control
• Backlit keys for low-light visibility

What security features protect my home while I’m away?

The KS04 offers an Away Mode that disables all codes except the master, plus a built-in alarm after repeated wrong attempts. The lock’s zinc-alloy body and ANSI Grade 3 certification provide physical resistance against forced entry.

• Away Mode preserves only the master code for maximum lockout
• Alarm triggers after 10 incorrect code attempts
• ANSI Grade 3 hardware and heavy-duty zinc alloy construction
• IP55 weather resistance for exterior installations

How easy is installation and daily maintenance?

Installation fits most standard doors (35–50 mm thick) and requires only a screwdriver, plus step-by-step instructions and a video guide. Four AA batteries power the lock for about a year, with low-battery alerts so you’re not surprised.

• Fits 1-3/8"–2" (35–50 mm) door thickness and 2-1/8" (54 mm) bore hole
• Simple screwdriver-only installation; no locksmith required
• 4 AA batteries (not included) for ~365 days of use with alerts
• Comes with two mechanical backup keys

Can I customize locking behavior for different situations?

Yes—the KS04 supports programmable auto-lock timing, a Passage Mode for continuous access, and a Silent Mode to suppress beeps. These options let you adapt the lock to parties, moving days, or quiet nights without changing hardware.

• Auto-lock adjustable from 10 to 99 seconds
• Passage Mode disables auto-lock for uninterrupted entry
• Silent Mode with backlit keypad for quiet operation
• Master code controls and the ability to create or revoke user codes quickly

Who this is for: The Veise KS04 suits homeowners, landlords, short-term rental hosts, and small businesses that want the convenience of keyless entry without giving up mechanical backup keys. It’s best for standard residential or office doors where ease of installation, weather resistance, configurable security modes, and a durable metal handle matter.
