ALLIGARE Triclopyr 4 Selective Herbicide Concentrate 3.79 L — Woody Brush & Broadleaf Control, Tank-Mix Compatible

ALLIGARE Triclopyr 4 is a concentrated selective herbicide formulated to control woody plants, brush, and broadleaf weeds across forestry, pasture, rights-of-way, and industrial sites.

This one-gallon professional-grade concentrate contains triclopyr ester at a 4-pound-per-gallon strength, designed for selective broadleaf control while generally preserving grasses. It offers flexible timing and tank-mix compatibility so applicators can customize treatments for invasive shrubs, woody sprouts, and unwanted brush on a variety of land types. Intended for licensed or experienced users, the product is registered for sale and use in most U.S. states listed on the label.

How does ALLIGARE Triclopyr 4 work to control woody plants?

Triclopyr 4 is absorbed through foliage and roots, moving within the plant to disrupt growth processes unique to broadleaf species and woody stems. Because it targets broadleaf biology, grasses are typically spared when used at recommended rates. Results depend on proper mixing, timing, and coverage for the targeted species.

• Systemic absorption through leaves and roots for internal control
• Effective on woody stems, brush, and broadleaf weeds rather than grasses
• Works best with thorough coverage of foliage and active growth periods
• Mix-compatible for customized treatment programs

When and where should I apply this herbicide?

ALLIGARE Triclopyr 4 can be applied during various seasons depending on plant activity and label directions. Use it for pasture renovation, forest understory management, rights-of-way maintenance, CRP acres, and industrial site vegetation control. Always follow the label for timing restrictions and environmental precautions.

• Apply during active growth for best uptake
• Approved for use in listed U.S. states—check your label for specifics
• Suitable for forestry, rangeland, pastures, and rights-of-way
• Follow buffer and drift management guidance to protect non-target areas

How do I mix and apply Triclopyr 4 safely and effectively?

Measure the concentrate and mix according to label rates into the spray tank with proper agitation. Use recommended personal protective equipment and spray nozzles for uniform coverage; avoid application when wind or temperature inversion may cause drift. Read tank-mix compatibility notes before combining with other products.

• Follow label mixing ratios for target species and coverage
• Use PPE as specified on the product label
• Maintain agitation and use approved surfactants if directed
• Check compatibility charts before tank-mixing with other herbicides

What environmental and safety precautions should I take?

Respect label restrictions for water bodies, sensitive crops, and re-entry intervals. Prevent spray drift and runoff by using proper nozzles, wind limits, and buffer zones. Dispose of leftover concentrate, rinse water, and containers in compliance with local regulations.

• Observe buffer zones near water and sensitive vegetation
• Avoid spraying near desirable broadleaf plants or ornamentals
• Rinse containers and dispose of waste according to label instructions
• Wear recommended PPE and follow re-entry intervals
