Elgato Stream Deck + controller — 8 LCD keys, 4 dials, touch strip for streaming & audio mixing

Elgato Stream Deck + is a compact hardware controller that combines eight customizable LCD keys, four multifunction dials, and a touch strip to act as an audio mixer, production console, and studio hub.

This streamlined device pairs tactile controls with visual feedback so creators can run live streams, podcasts, and productions from a single surface. It integrates with Elgato’s software ecosystem—like Wave Link and Camera Hub—and supports a wide range of plugins to connect with OBS, Twitch, Spotify, Philips Hue, and more. Small enough for desktop setups, the Stream Deck + prioritizes quick access to multi-step actions and profile switching for different apps.

How does Stream Deck + speed up live production tasks?

The Stream Deck + groups frequently used controls into physical keys, dials, and a touch strip so you can execute complex sequences without hunting menus. Its multi-action macros and smart profiles let you trigger bundled steps or automatically switch layouts when you open specific apps.

• Create one-button multi-actions: switch scenes, start recording, and play an intro track simultaneously.
• Smart profiles change button layouts per application, saving setup time between stream, edit, and call workflows.
• Visual LCD keys show icons or live status for immediate confirmation.

What audio control can I expect from this device?

Stream Deck + functions as a hands-on mixer when tied to Wave Link or other audio plugins, giving you fast access to levels, mute, and source routing. The four 360° encoders with push function let you make precise gain adjustments while the touch strip offers quick fades or scrub control.

• Four multifunction dials for volume, pan, or effect parameters with push-to-act functions.
• Touch strip for smooth fades, scrubbing, or rapid input changes.
• LCD keys that display channel or track icons, reducing mistakes during live broadcasts.

Which apps and plugins work with Stream Deck +?

The Stream Deck ecosystem supports native integrations and third-party plugins for streaming, audio, lighting, and productivity tools. Use the Stream Deck App to drag-and-drop actions, download plugins from the Store, and access royalty-free tracks and sound effects.

• Official plugins include Wave Link, Camera Hub, and Control Center for Elgato devices.
• Streaming services and apps: OBS, Twitch, YouTube, Discord, and Spotify integrations.
• Smart home and lighting control via Philips Hue plus community plugins for niche workflows.
